uh... tried entrepeneur. Day 2 begins with me losing one of the two areas that gets attacked. How is that supposed to be avoided? You don't even have the time to get Mobsters to defend against that attack, you can't afford better weapons, you quite simply have a snowball's chance in hell to avoid getting murdered. And no, I didn't even ship liquor the first round, thinking I'd need all my mobsters for defense. Guess what? it doesn't help when two families attack at once. I suppose you can bribe the Feronesi mob, but you kind of have to know they are going to attack. I can finish the game on the Generalist setting, but Entrepeneur? I don't see how it's possible. Not with two families attacking you all the time.

Not too bad. This is a pretty alright management game but there could be more varieties for income. There should be random events like police raids, as without them the only meaningful thing you get for bribing would be less taxes. I guess the sensing is pretty bad, as when I assign mobsters to guard shipments I have to click for a long time.Other than that, this is a good game and a nice play.
There are actually police raids, they just occur at very low levels of Police Respect. This was something we should have made more prominent in the game, in hindsight.

I personally took the peaceful route and became an entrepreneur, finished in roughly 45 days with less than 10 battles. Found the game brilliant, and the quality of animation is way beyond most flash games. The gameplay itself was also near perfect with a couple of downsides, for example, when buying liquor you have to click for a good minute, I recommend a press-and-hold option which accelerates the rate at which cases are added. Otherwise a fun game and hoping for a sequel!!

Great game, but there should be more types of income, random events, rivalries between AI families, police raids, and more.

The easy way to take over. MONEY MONEY is everything maintain money and youll be unstoppable money will allow u to increase ur attack and liquor

Very fun game. Has a few problems though. What is the point in bribing rival families to 0% if they are just going to take over your burrows anyways? It seems impossible to actually takeover a whole family, as when you attack their last district, they always somehow manage to take one of yours. Also, being able to simply TYPE the amount of bribe/alcohol I want would be amazing, as no one wants to click over 400 times to supply the burrows.

Wait for 150+ mobsters. 2 turns can take over 1 family. 1st turn: buy 1 land form other family, and attack all 3 other locations. 2nd turn: buy the land that family just get from you. That family will end.

Lovely game, just needs a couple things to get that 5 stars from me. A. More info on rival mobs... Be nice to see their mobsters compared to mine so I know I'm not fruitlessly chucking cannon fodder at them. And also a little longer, few more options and such.

The overall design of this game is very slick and professional. It's amazing how much the right music makes the difference between an okay game and a great one, and the inclusion of old italian-sounding music here is illustrative of that -- although 'Blue Moon' was written in 1934, and Rodgers and Hart were neither gangsters nor italian, even if the singer did sing the lyrics in italian! :P
I'd love to see a sequel to this game. 5/5 for a good game with an excellent soundtrack.

Fun, pretty short... Just a couple ideas...
Shipments should be automatic, with adjustments over-riding the previous setting... Example: If I have it set to 2000 cases, it will keep doing that until I run out or change the setting...
Also, I agree with the idea of a maximum bribe button.

The developer of this game has clearly just given up and left, it has a lot to be optimized so it actually runs smoother and there are quite a few things he could put into the game but oh well that happens

The Strategist is the best role, no doubt. Mobsters are the most precious resource in the game, and strategists lose less of them and kill more of them in any given attack. Anyone can get cash by building, and respect by bribing with that cash, but mobsters don't work that way.

Great start but it really falls apart at the end. For one thing, there is no way to buy more mobsters, you just have to wait for them to show up and of course you'll lose them faster and the gauge flat out lies about takeover success rates

I bought a district from one of the families and they decided to steal it back... I spent the next 5min muttering "You just don't f**k with me" and "You have no idea what you just got yourself into" until I finally took over all of their districts.

I'm constantly getting looted from just one and the same mob. My respect is high through out the community, so what gives? I like the game I may just start over, my goal of owning all properties has not yet been made. :(

They shouldn't be able to attack you for the city once you've bought it out... I've spent 30+ days trying to buy out Barese because they keep fighting for their cities, and my income is only approx 22m for their 40m city cost. Bribing them doesn't work, their animosity towards me is 0% right now. It's just a tad annoying and prevents gameplay process :/

This game is easy if you know what you're doing, but difficult if you don't. The city bribe percentages don't go down unless you piss off and fight another family, so raising bribes and not causing trouble helps a lot early on. But even if you don't ever do any takeovers, some other family will eventually try and fight you. In which case, kill them with your prime advantage; they can only takeover one of your cities per day, but you can takeover as many of theirs as you want as long as you have the mobsters.

also for those of you who arent the best players here is a tip do whatever you can to not get in trouble focus on money make sure everyone likes buy properties instead of stealing. Try to get the beer upgrades the more money the bee=tter but don't forget about guns :3 + if this helped you
