this reminds me of sudoku puzzle books. You complete one yay you completed it. On to another one. No real feeling of accomplishment we just set up a defense kill it and move to the next one over and over. No more no less. Would be better if it was challenging and had an upgrade system like every other good game out there.

Some advice for new players. Artillery tower is amazing damage and plasma tower is pretty good (also hits air when upgraded). I end up spamming a ton of sharpshooters which are tedious to upgrade but I think it's worth it with their damage and range. If you can't spend your money fast enough then put nuke silos around the end of the map and when they ready click them then drops bombs.

This game is awesome, 5/5 and Favorited! I would be so happy if you ended up coming out with a 2nd Swarm Defender, with much more to keep players busy! once you figure out the towers and combos, this game went by real quick, and was enjoyable, thanks for an awesome game. :)

Decent - Once you get those artillery cannons, everything else becomes a breeze. Those of you complaining about 3rd tab passives - save up for Labs, then keep replaying a level til you're satisfied. Then once your research points are 1k, spend the top 6 passives. Flak cannons are better than Protoss cannons (odd i know). Art Cannons, Flak cannons, Waste Spewers, then 4 labs and 4 banks. Very easy lol.

One of the best td-games I have played. But as in most other gaes here on kongregate I miss one thing: some method of saving my Progress - a code or something. I can´t be sure to have access to the same computer every time so I always have to start from the beginning.

I'm also having a problem with using the max upgrade button and going into the negative, sometimes without even getting an upgrade out of the deal... Also the straight-shot (straight-line) levels are absurdly difficult, so much so that I've been stuck on the same one for several hours, and can't figure a decent way to prevent any of the swarm from reaching my goal within the first 2-3 waves (or even a way to keep enough of them away to just pass the level)
I like the game, but I don't like being stuck on a level that I just can't find a way to beat, no matter how many different strategies I employ

Ugh. Temporary upgrades take what could be a fun game into merely an annoyance. On the same level as towers that get damaged. Bah. No rating.

on harder levels my tactic is place 2 flamethrowers and 3 bombers on start and then put sniper who can cover middle area

So, you're telling me I wasted all the time buying useless upgrades when they go away at the end of the level, and haven't seen it anywhere IN GAME that explains that's the way it works? The only place I've seen mention of it is in the comment sections. So I'm supposed to learn the mechanics of the game from reading the comments? Wow, what crap 'developers' you are. Stupid , stupid choice too for the one level 'Upgrades' . 1/5 worthless developers.

i have played this already long ago. ur best tower is the FLAK.. spam flak with few boomers and u win. if u want to add a snipers on the very rear its fine too.

Bug: When using research points to unlock towers, and restarting mission, it gives research points back, but towers are also unlocked.

Can't beat the one straight path level (3rd last one or so) Tried flamethrower spam, waste dispenser/plasma turrets, tesla's/lasers, nothing works, HELP ME GAH

My winning strategy: plasma turrets. Maybe throw in a single waste spewer or something for fun, but really it's just plasma turrets.

Irs mean't to look like Zerg from Starcraft, he based this off of old TD games from the original Starcraft Custom Games. I remember them well... Good times.

just going through endless mode. wave 34 is aproaching. 7.5M cash at bank, easily 1M kills. boring.
flamethrowers along the path on both sides, plasma cannons behind them and seismic thumpers in the corners, plus 3 nuke silos. so far mobs find it hard to pass the first turn.
now flash starts to struggle really hard. I think it's about time to quit this.

Kinda wish we didn't have to wait for a wave to get to a certain point to start the next one. Got a horde of plasma cannons on one of the infinite levels and I'd love to absolutely unleash the horde, but I'm stuck waiting on level 28 while 100,000 feeder worms kill themselves on my plasma.

So I have a major bone to grind with this game. It's fun and I've been having a hell of a fun time with it's endless swarm mode.... BUT On level 23-27 there always comes... A big ol' swarm of Feeder grubs... That can't be killed. Why? Did y'all just get to lazy to program the endlessness beyond a few levels? Seriously though I just dropped SEVEN nukes on them and every time one hit I watched their health jump from being nearly dead to full before the next nuke could hit. Seriously what the heck.

It'd be nice if the stars you get from completing missions actually had some sort of relevance. Some permanant passive upgrade system or something would be good.
