The original text for the easy badge before you earn it doesn't say you have to take the damage in a single hit, so I kept trying to take damage all over the place, and it added up to way more than 100, and I filed a report like an idiot. Somehow, I kept trying and managed to meet a contest where the opponent could hit 100 damage at once, so I did get the easy badge, and now it says "in a single hit" after I have the badge. If they are going to make an easy badge a BOTD, there shouldn't be confusing goals that don't seem to get met no matter what you do.

If you're ever having trouble in this game, get 82+ Strength, go to Caesarea in the south-west of the map, buy Greek Fire (looks like a brown jug) and burn everything with molotovs. After that, all you need is some armor and a hefty stack of potions to spam when your health starts to drop and you're set. If your champion has thrown weapon skills (like Karl, the male champion of Order) this strat gets even better.

The Far East and the Far East Champion is much easier if you take off all your armor before fighting them. The abilities won't one hit you so you can spam heal.

after so many years this game is still fun to play, i didnt care much for the 3rd game but 1 and 2 was great, 2 is the better of the trio but if you ever get another chance to re invent feudalism id love for a 4th game this far down the line, but to be made like 1 and 2, with more factions maybe or a different outlook a modern version maybe i will always rate all 3 games 5* though no matter how old they get, they are all just fantastic and you dont see games like this much anymore.

people talkin' about how OP the Far East is, even though them greek fires can just destroy late-game armies in just one to two shots

far east's guillotine blade is broken af! you can single handedly take other nation's capital. The far east is the hardest one since the unit has that skill too. Getting the hard badge is easy with it since 'more defense enemy has' + 'more sp is consumed' = more damage.

The Far East Ability to just randomly kill someone is broken. They instantly kill me and I can't attack fast enough to kill them before the animation plays.

Came back to this game after playing it as a kid years ago. Only took me a few hours to beat! Funny how easy games can be as an adult, yet seemed so hard when you were younger.

you pretty much can beat the whole area after you conquered nagoya and spam buying shogun ghost and also you should get the aura that makes you heal your east troops thingy

Here's a combo to try:
Greek Fire+ Bloody Rune
or Greek Fire + Rider's rune for infantry-dominated enemy armies.
Or Infantry rune to fight horse armies.
Wipes out even the toughest troops.
For Nagoya, I used that, as well as Holy Riders.
I kept spamming Greek Fire with Rider's rune (bonus damage for infantry) even though the final Samurai troops cut my troops down to my reserve.
Beat the game that way! :)

for all people having trouble with Nagoya, before attacking take your armour off, there 1 hit kill ability will do no damage to you, other than that just take a bunch of ranged units

i saved in a city, failed to capture it, than loaded and it was my city. :p i guess thats how you go from towns to a giant city without the inbetweens

The first and second version of the feudalism series are alot better than the third for a multitude of reasons, mainly it's style and gameplay as such is much more active than the third version, as you actually dictate when you attack, whereas in the third version you just tell your character where to go.

The best build in my opinion is that forest guy. The reasoning behind this is that is has the ability to throw something 3 times in rapid succession. Pair this with Greek Fire from the Great Trade Empire and you can single-handedly take down armies provided you have enough hp and spirit to continue to throw
