I must be missing something here, I played as a heavy axe hero, leveled up strength and axes to max, got the strongest axe I found in all of the cities, and yet my highest damage was 300...

So I'm just replaying the game for nostalgia's stake, when I notice something. My favourite buff "Unholy", is paired with my favourite weapon.. "Holy Bow". Might as well PPAP this and make an Unholy Holy Bow. :P

My favourite part:
-Dudes, do you see the legion of 200 archers on white horses, who wear golden armour and also carry giant golden axes. Yes, the same that are leaded by a guy, who carry giant golden axe and can kill a horse with a single hit. We are 7. I bet we can kill them all

I got the Strength of a Warrior Badge right after I equipped the gear and didn't even have to deal the damage in a fight. As said by others in chat, check all blue items in inventory, even the armour for increased damage.

To get Strength of a Warrior badge: Keep blue weapons and armour and check it out in your inventory, it'll show more information about it. Some increase damage by 0-1000.

buggy as hell... badge doesnt give easily in some cases and the quests are kinda broken... the hit system is a bit weird too. Sorry to say but it can be refined much more as the ones above said- buy "X" warroiors, sell x items/all, etc

how to get lots of gold for badge of the day: Make sure you have enough troops at the barracks, then ask for a quest at the city hall, if the guy dosent offer you enough gold then click "No, something else?" then exit and click on the castle door on bottom-right and 1. if its to go to another city, look for it and then click on it (warning, hostile people everywhere), 2. if its about the rogues then theres a mountain with a flag on it, you have to go there (unless you are extremely unlucky and the mountain is on a island) then repeat. sorry for long comment

lol get best ninja gear 100 of each potion you win i can capture any city not to mention max dual weapons and far east weapons

Would really have been nice (maybe on a hard difficulty or something) if enemies defending other cities got a small increase to their stats as the number of cities you conquer goes up. It was really disappointing when i finally got strong enough to take my own capital, then realizing that EVERY other country was more or less the same strength. Good game otherwise.

Should have a button when selling to lock the things you want to keep and sell all the rest. Should have a easier away to buy units.

It took me 30 mns to know to press SPACE for the hero to fight in game and SHIFT to swap weapons. But at least I didn't lose fights because my unit were strong.

Medium badge isn't that hard. Look for clothes / weapon with the blue background with 100/200/+ damage bonus. I got them fighting rogues, later in the game.
