Found a bit of a exploit. In the really late game when you have 750 or more cargo space you can go to Potoprens and buy max rum, this puts the price here much higher, then go to Montego and sell all the rum, which makes the price here drop. Leave the city and get into a fight with any ship other than the ghostship, and it updates the prices in the cities. Go back to Montego and buy the now cheap rum, reselling it at potoprens for 5500+. (i just used rum for this example, it works for any of the trade goods)

if you can't beat potoprens it's because you need better ships which you can get by click-dragging your mouse on the change ship menu, that should help.

my crew is currently wondering why i sold all the rum, they are also quite worried when i sold the christmas tree too after all christmas needs christmas trees to have that good feeling.

wtf is going on with potoprens. i have 3 koggs. every fight starts the same with them either taking out one of my ships instantly (which is the good variant were I at least see some way of beating it..) or worse, they spread their fire on all of my ships leaving 1 or 2 disabled and the last one with only enough ap to do one attack.

right..because last port has to have 3x 600hp ships that shoot 3 times while your ships hit 2 times IF they manage since OFC the opponent has to go first..

Why do you have to wait for the "salvaging" progress after a battle to get your looties? I found out that if you go straight to map without waiting for it, you receive nothing.

I like the game allright, but it's so SLOW waiting for cannonballs to fly, and even SLOWER to wait for the boarding action. Wish you could speed up the animation. You should be able to do actions with your other ships while one is boarding...

Ok WTH?! you can only buy 3 different ships after the 1st one? And even fully upgraded they don't stand ANY CHANCE against thoose cities?!?! I got at least 1 of my ships killed before I can do anything.. and than 2 Ships with something above 200HO VS 3 Ships with 600HP???????? How can you win this??? This is totally frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so i just attacked dominica and i remember VOGD saying that if you are stronger than the enemy you will not get first turn but clearly dominica's fleet is stronger than mine yet they still get first turn.

Dutchman is way too easy. With maxed Warships it goes down in a mere 2 moves. Could this be made into a challenge, or is that not the point?

The achievement menu and the ship buying menu are all drag-able.

Fix battle system please. I sunk 2 enemy ships and nearly sunk 3rd, but he managed to sink my ship. My wreck remained highlighted and the only thing I could do was to skip turn or retreat. My other ships became inactive. This happened few times during the game

5/5. But the last boss was no challenge, defeated him with dynamite in one turn with the x3 barkas ships. You should add some more mysterious boss ships that spawn at random times. Was fun

A bit disappointing. The AI doesn't know how to use anything except quick attacks; getting WP for upgrades and new warships takes very long, compared to how much money you get even from hunting pirates - eventually, you can just ignore trade completely and never even think about money again.
And then you kill the final boss in one turn.

i wish there is an option that whenever you go to towns your ships auto repairs and just notify you when you have insufficient funds

Lost all my cargo when I bought a new ship. Had a lot of money invested in it. Stopped playing because of loss. Might play again at a later time when more things are fixed.

I had a random encounter where one of the ships had 30ap but 1014hp. I only have 2 Karakka and 1 Kogg. I'm positive it was 1014, I attacked it and it went down into the 900s.
