1 complaint why do you gain AP on the rounds where you deal damage only thats flippin stupid i have lost so many battles because of that

(Part 2 of 2) Lastly, money came a lot faster than the Warpoints, but I only have to spend those once. To buy 3 ships, I need to spend 3x the cost of ships. This multiplies the increased cost of the trade ships vs the combat ships. Unless there is an economic way to win, then there isn't a real reason for the two trees.

Cool idea, and I had fun, though it was easy. Two major complaints. One is that things are not clearly described. It makes sense that sails and crew affect AP, but I don't know how much. That's minor though since I did figure it out. The issue is balance. You have two separate ship trees; one focused on combat and the other on trade. The latter has worse stats in everything but cargo. However the game is balanced in favor of combat. First off, even if trading can get more money, I know at the end I'm going to have to fight. I had the highest combat ships fully upgraded with tons of money to spam dynamite and still barely won. I needed the Dutchman to spread it's shots rather than focusing one one of my ships. I had to trade early on but later made tons of money through fighting where trading became tedious. (End part 1 of 2)

Why on earth would you pick anything but the right research side of ships? It's absolutely better in every way /except/ WP

In the intro ghost ship fight one of my ships survived the ghost ship's attack but the game put a game over anyway for losing all ships...

what are you suppose to do when you fight the duchtman with the best ships useing the best weapon and run out of money then lose?

Does anyone else get put into phantom battles (ships that arent marked on the map, win and loose all their goods?. Plz + so the developer can see.

To all those wondering: Quick Shot attacks the target ship, hitting Hull, Crew, and Sail. Target Sail reduces the target ship's AP for the duration of the fight. Target Crew increases boarding chance. Target Hull targets the ship's health. Boarding puts your crew against their crew in a chance encounter. If successful, the enemy ship loses all AP for the duration of the fight, making them unable to attack. + so everyone can see!

how about the more places we save the more the red circle gets bigger becuse it will be harder for them to save the other ones so they will only have the ports they saved unless there stronger to save other oirts

Also, War points require too much grinding. I have over 1 million gold with nothing to spend it on, yet the best ship is still thousands of points away.

It was pretty cool game. Kind of similar to Pirates of the Caribbean. I only had one real problem that wasn't mentioned: Why can you sell an item to the same city for a PROFIT!? That just sounds weird!

A feature that would enable you to have stored ships and money at a port would be nice. It would also fix most of the issues where you run out of money and lose everything.

So. I started did the intro then started with my little ship. Went out to fight another ship my size it was on 1 health and I was on full then I lost??? I went back to port to repair and it wouldn't let me do anything because I was 1 gold of repairing. Now I can't buy anything to trade and whenever i go to fight I automatically lose and my stuff gets stolen.

Prepare to broadside! Yeahhh! This game is great. My only suggestion would be a 'buy for fleet' option on the upgrades of ships. Cuz by the time you've got three ships of the line, and thousands of war points, chances are you can afford to do all three ships at once. But that's my laziness talking lol! 5/5, it's fantastic.
