Gah! My save game! I beat this weeks ago, and now it is gone. Feh, maybe I'll get around to playing it again. Maybe not. I hate when that happens.

for the start: buy /sell your ship. do this several times and you get free achievements you can spend. the price is the same (buy: 1200) and you get 1200 for selling the ship.

Is this the music from Sacred Seasons 2, or am I completely off? It's really familiar, and that's the closest my mind is coming...

"Weakest fleets attack first"
Huh.
*Enemy attacks. All three ships fire two volley and destroys one ship and disables the other."
O.O
*I attack. Totally ineffective*
I believe we have differing definitions of weakest....

free play, extended game would make this game WAY better as in add more ports/ships, power up the flying dutchman and continue the campaign then i will pull up to 5/5 right now i am 4/5

Why are those merchant ships (left part of the tree) more expensive but weaker? I know they cost less war points and have better cargo capacity but it's basicly useless because to get new things you need war points that are won only through battle. Also, i can trade well with my warships and get enough money from battles to never need that 'merchant' tree. You should either make those merchant ships cheeper or give them something special to make them worth it.

I lost to boss due to glitch - I was using dynamite, then ran out of funds and was unable target the boss ship even if I changed to powder or cannons. My AP could not select anything and I just had to end turns until dead.

So uhmm... I started the game and bought a second boat. It was destroyed. I played again and my main boat was destroyed. I got no money to repair any of them, I dont have things to sell... What am I supposed to do now?

Too short and end game is way to easy, But LOADS of FUN!
This game's core is so freaking Good! plz make a 2nd one with a difficulty setting and at least 20 hours of gameplay! 50 hours and multiplayer would KICK AZZ!

An fun little game. a little slow to start, but the WP you earn scales with the quality of your ships. higher rank ships yield more WP form the same fight. i like that part, however studying upgrades does not stack, where buying them does. IE you have to study upgrade 1 two then 3, but you can buy right up to three. it does not indicate this so you have to learn things. Easy to learn fun to play, a pain to grind but easier as higher tier fleets spawn. Best fleet + hull shots + dynamite = one dead duchtman.

Could someone explain what targeting different parts of the ship do? Hull obviously does more damage to hp, but what about sail and crew?

if you have a higher level upgrade if you pay for it then you'll only have to pay for that upgrade saves you money instead of being each upgrade separately.

Now the coins indicate much better whare you get profit, but I think it would be better if pirates attacked us out of nowhere more often. It would be nice to get more war points too.

Some tips I found to be a bit useful.
Attacking sails causes the enemy ship's AP to fall. You can easily win just by getting the three ships below 15 AP.
Always consider boarding at the beginning of a battle to get rid of a ship.
Keep enough money to repair your flagship if it is destroyed or you might have to reset the game.
You lose a battle if your middle ship is destroyed, upgrade accordingly.
Use stars to upgrade for AP at first to use each ship to attack more than once per turn. If it is maxed out, a ship of the line can do 2 quick shots AND 1 hull shot. This was incredibly useful for the Dutchman battle.
Ships battles are great sources of WP to get new ships and upgrades.
Retreat and bulk up if you’re losing a ship before your turn when at siege.
Once you unlock the cities with gunpowder for trade, use them to make millions. Dominica and Caracas are close enough that you can do 2 trips of gunpowder before the diminishing returns kicks in.
Hope any of these help, happy sailing!

The "weakest fleet attacks first" rule is pretty annoying. You can go against a series of 5 weak opponents and end up pretty wiped out. If there were some type of alternating system, it would likely be more fair.

War point gain needs to be buffed, i've been stomping the bujeebus out of all the ports/pirates with pinnacles but since a bunch of level 3, 5, 15 pirates are spawning it's a boring grind to achieve enough war points to get better ships so I can stand a chance against the ghost ship.

two tips...
1: maybe instead of just buy or max maybe a sliding number bar if some one wants to have a little of all available stuff instead of just having to click around from one to another
2. make a note that you can click to change ships..it took me my second playthrough to notice that instead of just getting pounded away because I didnt know that..unless i missed that some where and i just made myself look dumb..

I really hate how, even though I can obviously kill off the pirates without getting hurt, I completely lose a ship right from the beginning because they go first

Little bug - When fighting a ship and you click Map after the battle (before all the rewards have been displayed) you don't receive the gold reward. Very annoying:/.

To get all of the "Buy Ships" achievements early, just buy and sell the same ship repeatedly. You get all of your money back and it counts toward the achievement.

For everyone still on a surge with the dutchman: Get all your skills high (except cargo), have three line ships, max out upgrades, have a quarter million or so in gold; then use hull aiming with dyno exclusively.
