The enemies with dash are just broken. They can ignore entangle and even go through wall to hit you, no matter the situation. If the can use charge, shouldn't they too only be able to dash to where they can see?

I tried a run with Demon Magus character putting upgrade points into INT so spells be more effective and burn through certain enemies like the charger types. I reached Floor 6 with over 100 INT but stepped too far into a mob room. Nothing could do against like eight enemies including couple icy chargers |~.~|

Flame arc, frozen wind and similar 'cone shaped' spells can be used to shoot through walls or over gaps in the map. If the monsters in the adjacent space are close enough, this can be used to knock out clumps before entering a room.

VeridianOphidian and ExeBardBro: Mana Pearls are not usable in the game. They simply register as your wealth (and are scored as such under Kongregates' Achievements tab).

Something I only just now noticed after who even knows how many runs: You can have one spell on you or an enemy at a time. Trying to poison someone you've entangled ends the entangle; prepping Crit on yourself while you have a shield up drops the shield.

I know I'm super late to the party here, but I'm gonna second two things: 1) This game desperately needs a save feature, or at least a save-what-titles-you've-accrued feature. 2) It would be fantastic if you knew what floor you were on

was in the middle of a boss battle, suddenly window goes blank except my hp and mp bars. cant see anything at all but still dying from attacks....died and window went total black with no hud and thats where it stayed. didnt even give me any new title when i reloaded the page. please let us have save feature....or maybe at least have it auto save at start of each floor.

@iluvtrolls---what you encountered is a 'glitch' it happens every once in a while. it doesn't matter what you are, or the windows level, take advantage of it.

Just encountered an interesting malfunction. On the second floor, I was finishing a battle and got a level up. The level up continued to repeat over and over. I kept making the choices to spend my 4 points. I could hear loot dropping as well. After about 14 levels up I finally decided to click the ground and walk away from the loop. Suddenly there was a ton of loot in a nice square just piled up on top of itself. I spent about half an hour picking up loot until it hung and then went through loot discarding the trash. Click the ground away from the pile and then going back. Now I am about to drop down into level 3 with a much improved combatant. Not sure if it makes a difference but I am a Golem Wanderer on firefox, windows 7. :)

Would be nice if Entangle did NOT make me run up to the thing I just made stand still. Very fun game. I play on an old version of firefox and have to load the game at 80% zoom then once inside go to 100%. Still can't read the right half of the damage dialog.

@Gonkeymonkey Since stat giving titles become useless in the long run, the best titles in general are the movement speed ones, and after those the skeleton damage/charm ones

not a huge glitch, but sometimes you will get weapons/armor that have the green border and adjective on the name but do not have any boosts

The Sanctify spell's description says that it heals foes (which would make it fairly useless), but it actually doesn't. It's an extremely efficient way to stay alive during intense melee combat.
