@n0tn1h: Set new goals for yourself, such as getting 100 or more fiberglass per second, so you don't get bored! i have been playing for long time still cant get bored! i get trillions of logs/stone a second, have 9 quintillion (9,000,000,000,000,000) logs. For comparison, this is the number of seconds since the universe was created >>> 432,000,000,000,000 :)

@groceryfiend: Get a steelworks, they are very efficient for how much energy they take (64 iron to 1 energy!) if you don't have much energy to spare, find a long coast and build a crap ton of water-power plants and upgrade them as much as you can. As for your glass problem: upgrade your glass producing buildings or downgrade your fiberglass plants if you don't use them often. DON'T get stone quarry, and upgrade your first log and stone producing buildings, as they don't need materials other buildings need to upgrade and they are the base building anyway, so you have nothing to lose. hope this helps! :)

warehouses, roads, and cables are becoming so expensive i can't build anything despite how well i streamline everything, which is frustrating and my main issue with the exponential pricing

i dont like the fact thst like the ending is suposedly getting fiber glass but all you get when you do that is the energy transporter like i want an ending (yes its a sandbox game i know that but like minecraft has a kinda ending to kikl the dragon i want something like that)

BTW If you build efficient balanced complexes, they will not require accumulators or reservoirs. That saves you glass and steel.

for zorgzong-Storage buildings are the answer for basic resources, like steel. You may connect islands using fluid pipes and cables typically while collecting water and oil to make concrete, plastic and fiberglass.

once you have purchased 6 or so of the land thingys, theres 2 giant islands. im wondering: how do you connect those islands? are they just seperate worlds or are they possible to join? cuz i made tons of steel on the lower half but i cant get it to the upper half. the underground rails arent long enough either. any ideas, or is it impossible?

Awesome game man. a few things that would be nice are: 1. Sound. 2. A different AI player, that would build stuff too and then you'd have to raise an army and take 'em out

This game was fun as hell I will say but by the time you get to endgame and you can make everything you hit the worst kind of existential despair. Like now I have no goals left, no new buildings to work towards, why have I wasted so much of my time on this amusing game to work towards nothing. You should add updates with more new kinds of buildings or add quests or objectives of some sort and the game would be a masterpiece.
10/10 would waste large chunks of my life on this game again... and again.

I wish there was more to do. I have gotten so far, but all there is to do is expand and hope I dont run out of energy and materials when I do something. Like right now I am having trouble with steel and concrete, the grind just gets annoying after a while

tons of fun, but needs some updates.
Going in a direction other than south would be a great start.
Road cost should probably cap at some point.
maybe a research element that lets you unlock merged pipe/cable/road systems, or at least be able to cross each other.
Bridges, so roads can cross water.
the ability to level mountains at some point would be great.

only real issue I have is I use an isolated radar (it has power producers surrounding it but no batteries attached) so it doesn't drain the rest of my setup, but it loses all it's accumulated energy if I have to leave or if the window crashes/refreshes for some reason

... so a road is more than 1 million stone? that's a enormous road then!
I burned so much coal in this game that I'm surprised there are even people left to build my things.
xipha water and oil can't mix: the oil would just go above the water

stone pit wont make stone if unattached to storehouse. roads required to attach stone pit to storehouse. roads require stone to build. GTFO.

I've found one thing that has been annoying, with the oil rigs. You can't connect cables that are different, and some places only have enough space for one cable, so you have empty spaces that an oil rig can go, but wont be able to place the cables you need to reach it.
