In the actual story running water does not cure the golden touch it just changes things he's already touched to gold.

This is a really good game. Its got elements of a puzzle game, strategy, and it send out a very unique message about loneliness as well as acceptance. 5/5 and hope for a sequel.

Very good for 48 hours effort. I agree with some of the other comments though the jump action isn't quite right. It's a little too easy to fall off the edge of a platform because of a failed jump.

when u finish all levels (except credits) is there are way to restart? because when i refresh my browser Im still stuck at credits level.

The reason that the girl was turned to gold in the end was that because Midas realized that she would not love him forever, so he simply turned her to gold, so she would forever remain his.

it's a beautiful concept, but the credits level is so sad :'( no matter what he does he can't reach her anymore, it's really heartbreaking.

There are some really great problem solving levels in here! Well done for making me think, and not wanting to give up!

well the end (credits level) is kind of depressing and i HATE ends like this because it hurts somehow... well maybe that's the reason for 5/5. Good job.

It was definitely, but it's unique too. I only wish it wasn't so short, but you can do so much in 48 hours, right? 4/5

lowering rating cuz of last level. just because it's philosophical doesn't mean it's good to have a level that looks like it's menat to be done but is impossible. better to just make it narratively clear.

I finished the last lvl but it took me hours and hours to do it. After that, the game it glitched, so I don't think it was 'meant' to be possible

Wonderful. I think that the reason why the girl is already golden in the credits is a metaphor. The original story of Midas teaches that greed leads to bad things. In this game, Midas already has his greedy powers, and tries to get the girl at the same time. At the end, the girl is already golden to show that losing her was inevitable. 5/5, favorited.

Generally "art" games make me vomit blood, but seeing as how this was done in only 72 hours I can make allowances. Considering the time restraints, this is a pretty good puzzler with a relatively unique mechanic. I'm sure the "art" portion was just thrown in because it takes relatively little time to add yet fools plenty of idiots into thinking the game is profound and wonderful just because it has a few worn-out lines fit for any old tragedy/drama.

One more glitch. I exited the game in the middle, and came back and continued on the level I left off. Anyways, I finished the game, and in hopes of replaying the entire game, I refreshed the page. I ended up at the level I previously left off on, and my character couldn't move.

Inventive -- usually im not so into puzzle games but this one was good. Also i like the soliloquy as level titles 5/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
liked it 5/5 but the only thing i dont understand is the final level possible? if not you should have a cut scene thing when you fall or when you see her at the water
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
if you die when you have already touched the water it shows you with a gold crown when you're squished. it should be a black crown

Lol, If you dont know this game is also a greek myth about a king that turned every thing he touched in to gold. And one day he turned his daughter into gold and had to bath in a river to get read of his power.
