While it was relaxing, I quickly found that flying around in a zig-zag pattern was the most efficient way to explore. I give it a 3/5 simply for being unique. Though, I will add that I wish the purple fog (?) dissipated more smoothly, instead of breaking away in rough globs.

Thanks for the feedback! The fog disappearing in blotches was an intentional aesthetic choice, but I can certainly understand that it's not everyone's favorite. Also, I hope you will enjoy these words from The Buddha : "He who having been heedless is heedless no more, illuminates this world like the moon freed from clouds."

Something of a difficult experience to categorise: relaxing, therapeutic, thwarting, and frustrating in roughly even portions. The rate of decay of fireflies is just about right, although decay over uncovered areas is a niggle; the 'cap' on uncovered flowers is another minor gripe, just as I popped my "oh, so my horticultural expeditionary firefly fuel cannot exceed five sacks of petals?"; having so many minor variations of lotus seems like less of an incentive than a cheap sort Tom-and-Jerry aromatic nose-tweak. Four runs, and I started feeling less at peace and more critical... which may or may not be the aim, but focusing on specific goals to the detriment of achieving a state of zen could very well be antithetical. Arbitrary assignation of "this many batteries/gasoline cans/fuel cells" turns this from an unhurried cruise of discovery to an exercise in maximising efficiency. Taking your time to smell the roses - well, lotus blossoms - is infinitely more rewarding, so 3/5.

Thanks for the notes! I think about half of them are over my head! :) I definitely get the concern about zen exploration vs. goals and challenges. I thought about that as I worked on it. In the end, I really like progress and collection, and felt that not having to work a little for the later lotuses made them not as special as I wanted. Fortunately, time still doesn't matter, but you're of course right that efficiency does. :) In any case, a lot of this game was experimental developer exercises for me, and I appreciate your feedback! Also, let me share with you the words of the Buddha, who said: "_As a mighty flood sweeps away the sleeping village, so death carries away the person of distracted mind who only plucks the flowers._"

Come on people, let's get that Community Flower unlocked! Ponder these words of The Buddha : "_A cheevo left ungarnered by the heedless playerbase is like unto a muddy pond full of bugs and slimy sticks._"

The names of these lotuses sound like a sequence you could get from a tarot card reading. Also, there's so many lotuses to collect, but why is there not one single Black Lotus?

Added 51 to the counter today and got every collectable flower ^^
Cool mechanics... this as part of a bigger game... i like the style of exploring a map by running over it, and collecting something to 100%... so that was a small but cool experience... i will favorite it and see... maybe in a year... if there are more unlocked ^^
