One of the most hilarious parts for me about this game is the after round graphs. I can almost ALWAYS pin point where I built my first mortar because that is where creeper coverage suddenly spikes down and my creeper killed spikes up.

@icastro I do the same thing. Using mortars, blasters, collectors, no base move. I usually do it in less than 20 minutes. Less than 10 would be a challenge.

jcastro - sadly you cannot stop the creeper indefinitely. After 60 minutes you automatically enter Survival Mode and the emitters begin to constantly increase their output until you are overwhelmed. That said, I played your way for a long time. Now I'm addicted to my "air power" style -- for offense I build only drones. Also SAMs if needed. It's a nice combination of building vs. action.

I play the game a little differently from most people.
Instead of escaping the creeper as quickly as possible, I build forces and drive back the creeper to its emitters.
Then, I bask on the glory of being able to stop indefinitely a relentless enemy, and finally escape.
Most times, I can manage to do it in less than 30 minutes time in-game, always in less than 40 minutes.
Can you do the same in less than 20 minutes? Less than 10 minutes?

How is it scored? I generally score in the same range, far below the top scores and can't figure out how to up my points.

12/28: No base movement, Air Power only: 22:29. Plenty of RFI; took damage by first round of spores. (air power only means no weapons except drones and SAMs)

It's kind of funny how a troll like MT believes that we get all worked up when we see his comments. I expect many of us just click on that downvote without even reading his comments. After a little frustration at the beginning it just becomes a routine without any emotional consequence. He does invest a lot of his time though. The troll is the only one who does lose energy on trolling. This is why people call him a loser. He doesn't get it.

@Balbanes on your comment from 12/3. Rest assured, I downvote his every comment since years and I feel like I won some kind of score when mine was the third downvote that concealed his comments. I think I'd win that competition :) Nowadays I come here to read everyone's comments only once in a while. I keep track of which ones did I read by voting on every comment here, no exceptions. And it's rare that I downvote, except for his BS.
