@chilese: thanks! :) it's mostly easier to go around at the side of the map. i defended and advanced with tandem blasters as FroztySilva said he did. the drone cleaned up the deepest far pools about where i planned to push in. and i sent the mortar on many cleanup walks into near deep pools (far once at the beginning before i had the drone), and called back to reload when out of ammo.

You are so efficient. I took 23 minutes and my solution was much more brute force whereas yours was elegant. I tip my hat to you.

@chilese Good idea! Yes, it's possible. Success on the first try. Still, that was the most fun I think I've ever had on one of the "island" maps (which I don't usually care for). I had to make a retreat or two, until I learned how well blasters act as bulldozers in tandem... deep creeper and shallow creeper aren't all that much different to a few blasters together, at least not as much as I'd have expected. I stayed away from the islands for anything (didn't even use them as a blaster perch), and I didn't use any SAM's either.

@iMiPi & @FroztySilva: SUPERCHALLENGE OF THE DAY: Aug 7. No building on the islands. You can only build on the lowest level. Can it be done?

@ack4 Beating a level is usually easy (it's like yoga). Beating it most efficiently is the common challenge. Start posting your times, and/or come up with a handicap or limitation that makes the map challenging while still interesting.

i think it would be great if you could make your own maps with different numbers of emitters and tokens. then once you've made it there should be a way to post it and all players can see and play your map.
maybe add a top 10 maps of this week/month/year/ever sort of deal?

You can make the game as hard as you want. Just impose your own limitations. No pause. No drones. Double speed. No moving the city. You get to choose your own difficulty. :-)

am I the only person that has a need to to eradicate the creeper completely off the map, running them back to their emitter setting up no less than 2 guns apiece so they can't come out.m mmuhahahaha.

Wow. It's really hard not to hit the PAUSE during the DOUBLE SPEED CHALLENGE on July 29. My time with 1 Pause and not moving the city was 18:42. I need to calm down. That double speed had me making mistakes and losing weapons several times. I may try it again later after my coffee wears off.
