I like this game because it has a lot of challenching maps and I always pause the game to get odin city to a safer more defendable place and plan my strategy if spore come I start with 2-3 SAMs to make sure none of them relase creeperif there is a small high area close I conneckt to it with relays. I fell little disopointed about the upgrades being a little bit weak and why is there no tech on the maps and what is that unexpeckted doing in the units menu?!?

11/2 @Bozotic agreed! First try with base move I got 11:08. Then NBM was 11:35. One blaster held the north 'shore' for quite a while.

It took me >10 tries to construct the collectors in a right order, so that the top right totem is charged before being disconnected. No second to spare!

@W0lfl0ver: Um, I don't think there are any survivors in this game. This game is solely to activate totems to beat the map. Also, collectors are much more efficient than reactors, as they grant the same amount of energy but collectors are 1/4 the cost of reactors. They also are needed for your energy packets unless you want to use relays.

@Real_NotLG nice tactic. I use the 'tank' https://imgur.com/fzGZbgh two rows of leap-froggers with relays and replacements in between. wait for end one to be safe and recharge before leap - or leave behind to cover flank.

I did my tactic, which got an under rating, and i've currently lasted over an hour and this is on the Saturday map (the brownish map).

so many ways to win and lose. heres the quickest way to set up a proper defense. have a couple reactors being built then the blasters and if necessary, SAMs. if there's extra objectives (like rescuing survivors like in user space) use the main city and move it over to them and prey you're quick enough then move city back to main defenses. slowly take over all land around the city and keep the closest creeper spawner at bay. storage and speed are just optional, they help SPEED up the win but you can win without them. build LOADS of reactors once spread out enough and start over loading the map with weapons and practically nuke the creeper spawners then you have free reign over the map

A technique I like to use, that works like, most, of the time, is where I put about 3 blasters towards the direction of a totem, then, I put a relay in front of them, as they can protect it, then I put 3 more blasters in front of the relay, and repeat. Hard to explain, but if you try it, it definitely helps.

Just beat my time. I got Saturday, 10-13-2018 down to 1 min. 26 sec. by moving the base between the left and bottom Totems

Saturday, 10-13-2018: 1 min. 27 sec. At the start I moved my base just to down-left of the left totem, turned off Totem packets, built Collectors to the other 2 totems, and then turned on Totem packets. Just skip the technology, as it makes you take longer to win given that extra energy or more efficient building won't give you your return on investment given how quickly you can beat the level.
