Actually, before you get the wrong idea: with 12 attack, I usually have a lot more than 10 seconds left at the end of the round. Fighting pineapple17's boss (level 8, defense 7), I finished with 24, 28, and 30 seconds left, respectively. The battle would still be winnable with significantly less than 12 attack (6 should do, at a guess).
The values go up exponentially. So it's to be expected that a 4 difference between attack and defense becomes a big deal. The important thing is that you should be able to fight someone with 12 DEF +-1 and be a balanced battle. Now the issues is why you got matched up with someone that was so far below.

pacattack25: It's true that defense is a boss's most important stat, but by the same token, attack is DD's most important stat. I have 12 attack upgrades, and I've been winning every fight (even against bosses with 10 defense) with over ten seconds to spare each round.

For noobs: Do not even try to fight a boss with more than 5 defense EVER they are impossible to kill even if they have no other upgrade, or boost active. And no don't even try it if you have more than 5 attack

The collision detection is soooooo horrible. It almost makes the game unplayable, that's how bad it can get. Also, improve the multiplayer so I can get more people to fight my boss (like, only people that are currently online can have people fight their boss, or something like that). Overall it's a pretty cool game, but those are the areas that need massive improvements.
Hi, Can you give me specifics about the collision? Is it in front of the Boss? If so, you can't be in front of the boss while he shoots at all. It's intended that way but we are getting feedback that it's difficult to understand. THanks

sorry for double post, but mines shouldn't be able to spawn right on top of you, damage you, send you reeling back just long enough for a laser to one hit you either...

Ok the defense stat on the bosses need a MASSIVE debuff or MUCH more time to defeat boss on multiplayer, I just fought someone with level 5 and 5 defense with my 4 attack and hitting it CONSTANTLY and I still can't win... the bosses defense is a little OP at this point

I came across a bug I believe. On mission 18 of 20 part 3 it says to "hit the boss 30 times with The Great Ball of Fire". As of now it is only keeping track of the number of times you hit the boss with the Ball of Fire in 1 game. It does not carry over into another one it just restarts back to zero. I believe this is a bug because all other missions specify whether to do it in a single game while this one does not. For example in that same mission only part 2 it says "collect 300 coins in a game". Plus as of now there is no way to even hit the boss 30 times with it in 1 game. Even with ammo max fully upgraded you only get 24 shots and ammo is not dropped in a game. Hopefully this is fixed before being released from beta.

there should be a boss upgrade you can buy to improve the rate of people fighting your boss to emphasize active players getting boss experience
We though of that. You should be getting around 5 battles daily if you consistently check in the game. Or that's what we are aiming for. So the boss should progress continuosly.

j7140 that was someones pimped out boss, which is the whole point of the game, to make your boss stronger and stronger.

ok so i was doing multiplayer and it was pretty easy for a while. but then i fought one with only bouncers but LOTS of health and then in the next round it had those electric ones and i got whooped. i understand wanting it to be a challenge but that difficulty spike was way too big

touching a mine ruins a punch. In later levels when you are going for missile combos, mines will appear right under you as you are about to punch a missile, ruining your combo. There is no way to avoid this, it is crazy annoying. Kindly fix please.

I would like to be able to punch with a mouse click too. The arrow thing kind of caught me off guard. Other than that, great game!

Just wanted to let you guys know that I wrote a comment previously chastising the milk coin structure and saying it was a pay-to-win game and scored the game a 2/5. Since then I've come back to play and strangely enough, you guys drastically improved the game. In fact if anything the Milk Coin structure is slightly generous. That is all to rare in these types of games. Usually the structure is set up to rob the customer and the developer rarely responds to any cries from their gamers when it comes to this. I can't wait until the release from beta and hope this game really builds a strong player base, as that is the only thing lacking as of now to make this a very successful game. 5/5 for the changes and the game. Please vote up to help show other developers that it is appreciated when they listen to their players

definitely needs a separate key for the super punches. holding is triggered sometimes by rapid fire, wasting it. Make it the Left arrow key

Ugh i was SO close to my reccord then it just exited to the mission screen without asking if i wanna revive or anything. plz fix

Game seems to be broke. I get a screen that only 1/4 of what should be shown and I can't walk any further than that. If I change my zoom in IE to a lower stetting, it shows the whole screen but much smaller than it should be and the game still won't let me at the boss.

Now for things of less import: typos.
Mission 8, the third goal (stun the boss on the tree stump 10 times) stun is spelled as stunn.
On the power-ups (the ones that upgrade things like the magnet or invulnerability) For the invulnerability powerup, strength is spelled as strenght.
Honestly, this isn't that important, it's just one of those small polish things you should eventually do before it goes into official release.

spent about 4 hours or so playing and think that there is a great game somewhere in here. Unfortunately I think that the current structure of milk coins is going to kill this game before it ever takes off. In the 4 hours I've spent playing single player I have gotten 2 milk coins. Enough for 2 upgrades at 1 milk coin. Then they shoot up to 5 and continue to double. Multiplayer is no different, while you get 20 or so MC's after 5 or so fights from cards, once you reach a certain point your attack is not high enough to kill bosses with even a 4 in defense and it becomes impossible to aquire MC's this way. For a multiplayer game like this to succeed, it needs lots of players not a loyal few. As it is now it is pay to win. I'll check back in a week or so to see if the structure has changed if not then Ciya for good. 2/5 for the idea, normally it would be a 1/5 for any pay to win game.
Hi Erock. It's not meant to be a pay to win but the current multiplayer and WMC is not tuned. We have an update coming up in the next few days to fix all of that. We agree with everything you said. Thanks

I have figured out why people are getting "You Lost" even when they have won. I did some testing and whenever you refresh the page to get out of a fight you know you're going to lose to so you don't lose DR, it will register it on the next fight and say that you lost even though you have won. So just take the loss in the first place, don't refresh to try to get out of the fight, you're going to lose anyway if you do.

because my DR rating is so high, I now keep fighting the same #1 boss over and over in multiplayer. I don't get much out of it, but im sure he is enjoying the free xp on his boss. Meanwhile my boss hasn't seen a fight in 2 days, so no xp for him.

Also, as long as we're discussing new control schemes... the left arrow key doesn't seem to be in use, and I personally would prefer to tap that to instantly activate my super punch than holding down a normal attack key. This also eliminates the lag problem where rapid tapping could activate your super punch because the game registers it as you just holding down the key.

to my comment change arrows to wasd and vicew versa u can switch the arrows up down right to w for up, s for down , and d for right i suggest this cause im left handed

If you are going to only allow a max milk coins per day drop in multiplayer, im fine with that. Specify what that max is. Don't give me ~20 milk coins in my first 3 multiplayer battles of the day, and then only regular coins for the next 40 battles. Let me know what im in for.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
it's a great game but it would be better if I could customize the controls because not everyone wants to use wasd to move

just a question: When will be the update... not that I'm impatient but you've been talking about an update coming up for about a week now...

So, I just perfected another player's boss all three rounds. I got my prize and then ... It told me I lost. ... Just throwing that out there.

Update to last post: Okay, so I tried resetting to default zoom and then getting into the game, and it worked perfectly. Sorry about the non-necessary? bug report.

I have this really strange bug. If the screen is zoomed in differently than normal (I'm usually zoomed in farther to see my screen better) than everything goes rather funky. The menus get zoomed in real tight in some places. And if you zoom in far enough, the boss is stuck in a spot where he can't hit you but you can wail on him as much as you want. You can't collect any coins but hey ... you know ... it works. Just to let you know, I'm on firefox (if that makes a difference.) Also, one note about the gameplay itself, the combo counter goes to 99 then when it goes up to 100 it instead goes back to zero. I must have had like a 700 combo but I had to count it myself because every 100 rolled back to zero. I hope aLL this helps.

you should make an option to change the controls from movement: wasd and hits: arrows to movement: arrows and hits: wasd

Just an idea. Shouldn't the magnet pick up coins that are already on the ground? That would make it a bit more useful.

Also, slight thing with hitboxes: Upon the boss using the laser, hitboxes are applied before the actual laser graphic appears.
