Stef1987: I can see that as well, but I think the high ratings are for the very idea of such a large, open 3D world with such high detail. In terms of gaming, sure, it's a bit empty and in the long term, I think games like this will stop impressing as much, when the real games begin getting released. But early on, this is a great example of things to come, and a very nice one at that. Unity is new on Kong, we won't see the best work for quite a bit, so it's nice to see the simple concepts being shown off.

see the problem with the lag is the trees. You're probably using some very high detailed tree and you have so many bunched together.

"Stunning" detail is a joke, all this is using the default art assets, along with a simple script plus ovals, no effort was put into this whatsoever.

It's pretty relaxing, I like it. You should put cool stuff around, just so that we can find it. I would like that a lot, keep it up!

I think you should put a sea and a bay in, and caves would be awesome! And you should be able to zoom out, and you can make a little character and this could be such a fantastic adventure game with towns and cities and it'd be SO GOOD

FISHINGMAN - READ THE DESCRIPTION! "Well this is kinda like an experiment"
I liked it for what i played... then i fell off the edge :(

sooo did anybody else fall off the map and watch the character be slowly eaten by a blue abyss? cuz i did it was actually kinda fun finding the edge of the map :) this is actually a really nice base to build a fun game off of, especially for a first attempt. i'm rating it a 5/5 for the good graphics and for being an interesting distraction for a short time i'd love to see the developer build on this + it up if oyu agree!!! :)

since its 24 here i gotta spend it with my family. next week or something i might expand the map and MAYBE put some caves.

Stunning detail; but it's too detailed to run smootly :-(.
Also, I suggest making sure the camera cannot dive underground, or even too close to an object (occluding the wiew).
Nice demo, though

Nice visuals. There should be more to explore though and it would also be nice to have the ability to rotate the view. But it's a nice start. Could become an amazing survival game in the style of stranded, for instance.

nice 3d, needs a better looking character thou, and something to do would be nice (other than walking). otherwise a prommising start to a nice 3d game.
