I really could see myself finishing this if not for the insane amount of random encounters. It just breaks the willingness when you can't move for 5 seconds without hitting an encounter.

Btw ppl, You should know that Jiggles Worth is a puzzle boss, you were given a clue before on how to defeat him, bluntly attcking him wont work + so ppl can hear this and not lose all their hair fighting him

Not that far into the game, still beginning area, about the part where the kids are going to leave town on their own for the first time. But I already love the game! It reminds me of the Mother series, which is why I really like this.

I could help optimize your coding for a faster loading time if you want. Aside from that great game good graphics and a well made plot.

@rhibread, if you honestly think this is grindy, then you must not have played many RPG's in your day. Seriously, it took me a little under an hour to beat the desert boss from the start of the game. And if the battles take awhile? You need to develop better strategies. I'm currently winning fights in one turn because I am attacking their weaknesses, it really isn't that hard if you think about it. I rated the game 5/5, the dialog is hilarious, and overall game mechanics work. Only thing I will say is that the game is slightly buggy when walking around, as in; if the game lags when you are walking against a wall, you'll teleport inside the wall a decent distance. No getting out of that, which forces you to load your save from who knows how far back. Other than that, keep it up! We need more games like this.

If you cannot progress after stop sign- Restart the game and let it load an extra minute. EVEN if it says its done wait 1 minute before clicking the start button after its done loading. IT WILL HELP YOU. + if this help so others can see!!!!

So... huge box stores are run by brain sucking parasites out to take over the world with rampant consumerism? And this is new how?
Seriously though great game, quite original and largely well done. Its refreshing to see something that is set at least nominally in the modern "real" world.

Here I give one advice for each hard boss : - For Piercy, no need to use AOE attacks, just focus the chair, for something like .. 500 HP maybe.. For Lance, first kill the Robots, with Paige 372 ~ dmg on front line, then attack the Host, then the Octopus. For the last boss, I won't spoil who it is. I had to hit him for something like 40 rounds first, I realize now that the first 40 rounds you just have to survive. And then came the Anti-Audio Speaker, they have approximately 500 HP. Don't despair, Dream Bolt attacks them for 80 dmg.
And no need to do all the battles in the desert ( long hard & boring ) if you don't like them, next zone is easier and more rewarding.

I'm impressed with a serious lead heroine being in the "fighter" type role from how she behaves in combat. Also, if you do any updates to this, separate boss theme might be good. This is worth 5 stars. Props.

the end is so vague :/ I wish there was a sequel to this... WITH a mute button (regardless of the high music quality) xD

I like this game but there are a few things that really tick me off. I hate how fast the enemies are. You can try running away from them, but mot likeley they will get you, especially if they can fly over gaps. When you flee, you should have a few seconds of "invincibility". I often find myself fleeing and beginning battle a tenth of a second later. I believe the bosses are a bit ridiculous. I'm on the second boss and have been in battle for over half an hour and lost. I wasn't able to beat any part of the boss. The bosses have way too much health. The only way to win is to level grind which isn't a good thing. It's better to win from skill than to just win because you have a bigger number. I think this game is really fun and creative, but its major flaws are with battle.

This game is a lot like EB as people say, which rocks cause I love that game and still play it to this day. The battle system and all seem fine to me, I don't see the issue. This is seriously underrated, it's as good as Mardek is, least in my opinion. Her's hoping for a sequel.

thanks for making a game that reminds me of my favorite childhood game, Ahriman's Prophecy~~ I feel young again~~!! \(^O^)/ oh wait, i'm still 17... (._.)

This game shows a lot of promise. The story and setting are intriguing, but the power slide mini game you have to go through before *every* attack ruins it completely for me. In an RPG I want to build my characters and enjoy the story, not test my reflexes! Also, even the tiniest bits of lag on my computer causes me to hit for minimum damage.

It really confused me at first but I got it, Kill the alpha vestite host first! the vestite is healing itself, not the host! Then it will stop healing itself and be vulnerable!

Alright. So, I really love the game setup so far, I love the dialogue and the overall story, but it's just that there's one problem - the battles and levels. It takes way too long to get to an appropriate level for the end area boss. I had no trouble with the stop sign, but I had to go and level grind to defeat the first boss, and now I'm at the desert, soI'm grinding to a higher level there just so I can beat the second boss. It takes way too long to level grind. One more thing that could be improved is the enemies. I love the designs, but it's just that they feel too overpowered so it takes FOREVER to get through one battle. What I really like about the game is the sound effect before entering a battle, and how it reminds me a little of Earthbound. We really need more games like this (but of courseā¦ maybe not as long level grinding.).

The best course of action, for anyone wondering, is to try to rush to the point in the story where you get your third party member, then start levelling in that zone to make up for lost time. Her stats are slightly lower base, but she has a lower EXP cost per level than the other two party members, while not being too far behind like the ones after her. As a result, by level 15, she will have overtaken everyone in level, and the gap will only increase. Due to her being a speed/power character with lower other stats, giving her the Star Bomb AoE found in the same zone leads to her sweeping fights effortlessly in the zone you get her, and only getting more powerful from there.

It's a damn shame I'm so badge-directed, I'll normally miss gems like this. The three-row system with 0-turn adjusting is better than some traditional setups. The writing, story, and characters aren't super revolutionary, but still pleasant and more filling than most games. The mother/earthbound flavor is delicious. The TCT RPG will probably never have badges, and never get the recognition it deserves. Meanwhile, I haven't even finished Mardek...

man, I really hate it when you can't even get a single second to look around, to just check your location, before you get raped into the next fight. Everything else was very nice.
