Shitty game. Art was great, but the gameplay was freaking awful. Terrible platforming, way too sensitive controls, unclear level design, hard to see where you could stand and where you couldn't, unclear goals, all in all it was a terrible game that is only able to stay afloat on its art and everybody calling it deep and trying to artificially find hidden meanings behind everything.
1/5

Perfect. Insightful amazing beautiful to look at and listen too. Fun and intriguing to play. Best game on kongregate since aether.

This game is pretty, that's about it. Cryptic wall writing and shading doesn't make a cool game, or a good one. Especially if we can guess what happens after 2 minutes of playtime.
Art game makers, please actually put some effort into the mystery.

For WillyDeWulf, here's my impression of the end. Pete could have woken up or died in his coma. In a way, I like to think that his sister was dead (hence being trapped in the "secret basement") and he went to join her. The manifestation of Pete's sister in the coma is a brief appearance of the flutist in Shill bend. Although, there's also the possibility that his sister appears as Bird (fitting Pete's image of her as a small, energetic helper who follows him everywhere (assuming she was his little sister)). I could be completely wrong, but then, the ending is ambiguous on purpose. If you don't get it, make it up.

This is such a beautiful game. I love the ending, though the part passed the basement is a little gross... The art is fitting as well, and the simplicity of it just ties it all together.

I'm confused. Did he die? Did he wake up? And where is his sister, I never saw her?
It was a pretty good game still though.

This game is majorly awsome but I got stuck in the basment because the little girl just vanished on me. Im still stuck in there. ;D

This one is a brutal totally awesome piece of a beautiful game, that is maybe better than all those other people, who are reading silly magazines, while they are sitting in front of the television, that is sending some unbelievable annoying movie about people, who are reading silly magazines, while they are sitting in front of the television, that is sending some unbelievable annoying movie about people, who...

10000000000000000000/10. always one of my favorite games. the music for the ending always give me goosebumps XP this game pwns all you wannabe game producers!

needs upgrades... like exploding bullets or projectile shield.
but seriosly... make a creepy plot that makes no sense and put some handdrawn artwork behind plus some slow music and its called art -.- people who play free flash games are easy to convince.

The part that creeps me out is when it says "WAKE UP" on a wall, in the dark, and then the confusion of when it says "RING THE 'DORE' BELL" (again) somehow creeps me out... That makes nightmarish.

I love this, it kinda reminds me of Limbo on the XBOX 360 but not as gruesome. I played once using all the nice answers, and then played again using all the mean answers. this is STUFF OF LEGEND.
SPOILER ALERT---------------------------
I didn't notice the reflection in the water till the second time, I also didn't notice that the song that plays after you first meet the bird is DEB, I wonder if they do that so you won't forget the song hahahah I tried the piano at the beginning to see if you can skip but you can't
again THIS IS AWESOME

Amazing, amazing game. At first I didn't really get it...but thinking about an artistic representation of a person finding how to escape a coma-that is truly beautiful.
And just for fun...on the piano (Ode to Joy)

Has anyone ever played the "Nevermore" series? It came out long before this, and it's surprisingly similar to this game - art, character, speech, etc. All of it is almost the same.
