heres what i do
the I is a steel bar if affordable
the = signs is a bar at the bottom and top
_____/=I=\______
the buckling caused by weight perhaps?
well my experience is that you cant make enough triangles with you money to be succesful most lvls

fizban, why do you think they are called games? because they are not like real world physics. other wise, why not just go outside and build a bridge yourself. and if you are really talented, you could make a bridge with out the floating points...any way GREAT GAME, i love watching the bridges collapse under teh weight of the critters.

needs an easier way to delete things! omg i accidently click in 1 spot real quick and theres 2 dots and its too close to delete

there needs to be badges i think ... like one that says ... you need 500 people to get safely across your bridges 15 award points and a badge that is called something like bridge maker or yea ... an it could have a picture of a bridge ..

The second version of my Bridge Builder/Pontifex-inspired physics game made for freeworldgroup.
i would like to hack and strangle everyone who says this game is a copy or stupid because they have no common sence but sadly id get arrested for that isntead i will copy this every 10 posts for now on.

the physics are a little off... you can put all the triangles you possibly can, and the bridge will still fail. Also, the bridges tend to buckle when there's no reason to...

not at original at all with the same annoyances of bridge it......
Could eventually be a really good teaching tool, but fails miserably in the real world of building...anything....

The delete system is stupid. It should be control-click instead, and half the time I try to select a beam, it deletes. Also, suspension cables would be cool.

Oh fizban, are you serious? Does Super Mario Brothers annoy you too? Oh, all of those floating platforms! How dare it not be just like real life!

sad, very very sad, (mad). the game is a very original concept a bit hard some real world bridge designs actually fail on this game. maybe make it more realistic besides that this is a brilliant game 4/5 keep up the good work.

This game is very unrealistic. You can't even attach to the bottom or sides. Strong bridges will allow you to have a wood, metal bar, or something latch onto the dirt (overhanging from the top). Kinda cool, but more realism would be nice. Then again, I can only imagine how hard that would be. Since it was kinda cool, I'll give it a 4/5.

I'm guessing parts of this were inspired by the game Armadillo Run, which had a very similar premise and design. However, your controls are much less user friendly and the interface is counterintuitive. It's neat, but could just be set up better.

It seems like you need decent symmetry for the bridge to hold up, but the arrangements of a lot of the anchors make it incredibly difficult to actually make true triangles connecting them, especially combined with the severe limit on beam length. Maybe change it so you can make beams as long as you want, but they hold up less well beyond a certain point and the cost is by square instead of per beam?

by the way the 1st one is the easiest to complet just use steel all the way trough with one connecting the middle of the bridge to the dot above

OMGCAPS its simple. Triangles make a bridge stronger. Just think of bridges u have seen in ur life and how they were built to make them strong. Sometimes using wood can be better than steel.

Couldn't figure it out. Nothing stuck together, so everything I tried resulted in what should have been supports falling, and the actual bridge falling. Then when I finally figured it out, I found I lost all interest.
Good idea, but I just didn't figure it out.

i love the engineering aspect. at first i got stuck on level 3, but then looked at it from real life perspective, how would i build this? and it worked. the rest followed easily.
more please!
