It would be great if the heroes had noticable differences. Like the bandit can jump higher, the psycho has higher weapon damage, the gentleman has an extra hit point, the cop can run faster, the trucker gets a discount at the store. Something.

I was hoping the different character would have other set of equipement. Or at least other set of books (4/5 because of that). If you want us to restart, you need to make those enemies a lot stronger the second try. What else... oh yeah ! the weapons are really too easy to skip. Not enough difference/no speciality/easy targets. You can easily skip to the last weapon which make the game enven more easier afterward.

Very nice game, too easy though. The money system could use a little revision, its way too easy to buy everything, you can just skip from the first to the last weapon and forget about the others since they dont offer anything worth the money.

I absolutely love the concept and feel of the game. That being said, there need to be several crucial adjustments/changes. 1. Money is too easy to come by. I only actually HAD to buy 2 guns. Perhaps have the game remember coins collected on the first attempt at a level, so you cant just recollect them infinitely. 2. The enemies are too predictable/easy to kill. 3. Perhaps add another element to the game, such as limited bullets, a neutral race that you shouldn't kill, boxes you have to push around, etc. 4. Speed things up. I felt like I was spending half the game waiting for a platform to come down. Make them faster or make everything faster.

I hate to be critical, because I really like old-fashioned games and platformer-RPG hybrids, and your programming is excellent. However, My biggest critique for your game would be originality. Never hesitate to be creative in your game-making process. Aliens, all those guns, coins, spikes, dripping sludge... it's all been done before. I like the books, that's not something you see much. Still, there are tons of ways in which this game could have been much more original. Practically speaking, definitely read the top comments – they know what they're talking about. Thanks for the game, Wobly.

When you die you keep everything and everything respawns, so because of this it is very easy to just keep dying and recollecting a bunch of gold coins or big group of early money. It doesn't take much time or effort to collect a lot of money have have everything purchased before the second or even first boss. Great game, just needs more balancing.

There's no reason to ever buy any gun but the last gun. Buying the bonus to %money books first will get you the last gun by the 2nd level in the 2nd chapter. That's if you chose not to restart because you mistakenly thought the characters would be different. On a side note you keep everything you've earned when you die/quit. Also the final boss seemed to be easier than the second boss...not that anything in this game would be considered challenging.

It's a great start. Solid all around, but I had best gun and all upgrades at the start of the cemetery. Just made things too easy. Instead of a wide variety of weapons, how about weapon types with specialized damage? Certain mobs hurt by certain things, etc. Good fun, but doesn't make you want to keep playing after you max out.

These heroes aren't random, they're the only 5 people in the world who can kill monsters and do a moonwalk at same time.

Not bad, but much too simple. I maxed out all the upgrades much too early. Achievements are more interesting if they provide a bonus of some kind. Variation in the characters would add interest to the game.

it would be nice if the guns had upgrades. and it is really easy maybe add difficultys and it needs more armor upgrades. but its still really fun i give it a 4/5

I would have liked
1: Difference between characters, and upgrades on each character's traits (skill trees?).
2: More weapons would have been nice, but upgrades on each weapon would work better I think.
3: You could probably scale it a bit better in terms of level progress vs upgrade progress. I had barely started cemetary when I had full armor, all books and the pulse laser.

Auto shoot: Unlocked. Hold down the shoot button and right click the game window, then left click back on the game screen. Run around shooting like a mad man. Sweet.

If you agree that you should be able to exit the item menu with "U" also, click [+]. It's just so annoying having to click on continue all the time, since you have both of your hands in the keyboard.

I'd like to see each character offer something different, especially the unlockable ones. Melee with the psycho anyone? Great little game though.

Fun... but too easy.
I had all of the best equipment long before the ending and I beat almost every level on the first try, including the final boss. Also, the characters were all the same and the different power levels of the weapons didn't make that much difference (you still had to hit even the weakest monster several times, even when using the strongest gun).
I played it all the way through, but likely won't come back

thus game is awesome, but way too easy. None of the enemies are difficult and there is NO penalty for dying which allows lazy people to sit in the first couple of jumps of the levels, then kill themselves to get the money again.

Also a reload feature would remove the easyness also a crouch feature where you have to crouch to kill the smalller enemies.

Very, very nice, little, action packed game, very easy though, coul've been much more challenging. Characters should have unique abilities, unlockable weapons, for example after beating game, unlocks normal difficulty ( because this one is waaaay too easy ) and some rad weapon like OMFGWTFG. Emm, what wlse, ah, weapons need rework, because minigun is much better weapon than plasma gun. That us all for now, but overall, brillianly executed pogramming, I found no glitches and control is smooth and responsive, music is awesome. Great work, 5/5 from me, it has potential for 10/5 though )

Started the game, saved enough to buy Economics vol 2, then vol 1. At the beginning of stage (or is it world) 2 I had enough money to buy the best weapon. All challenge gone.

It would also be nice if I had to work to get the achievements. I got them all in one playthrough without looking at what they were.

the game is a bit too easy, especially when you buy the increased money book... I had full armor and best weapon before the 2nd boss.
LOVE the game music though
