AGH! I just finished defeating all 3 levels with 0 lives lost - this is a problem! it means i need more levels or Epic Friends 2!! I really hope you make more. This was a perfect game. I so thoroughly enjoyed it.

Beat it on normal on my 3rd try, lost only 5 lives. I used: 2 ice guns, 2 lasers, 2 bazookas, and 4 snipers. Upgraded the snipers first, bazookas as needed. Once I was at wave 30 I kinda forgot about the lasers, as the snipers tend to do everything (upgrade range to 3 and you don't need to upgrade speed). At wave 70, upgrading ice guns is a good idea, especially against the "open mouth" guys. Pretty intense tower defense. Loved it.

Change it so that Swallow's still take damage from poison when their mouth is open if they got poisoned before they opened their mouth...

Why you use either lasers or shotguns for anything other than the grouped up minions.
Power of maxed weapon.
damage*special multiplier/reload=DPS(damage per whatever the reload is based off of)
Slingshot=11.25
Sniper=9.375
Ice=3.75
Bamboo=1.5625+135/s (which isn't that much)
Rock Launcher=5.625
Ninja star=22.5 (poisoned)
Laser=30 (slowed)
Shotgun=50.4 (when you don't have range and loads of speed you get somewhere around 40)
Throwing axe=24.54 (on average)
Wand=52.5 (7.5 to up to 7 targets)

i did just beat the game on hard difficulty and reall liked it, but the enemies felt like i could do another 50 waves without difficulties with my axemen-setup

Its great of how you could just basically bribe random people to be your friends and kill things, making the saying "You can't buy friends with money" meaningless :P

i donno if it works for the other modes.. but for easy, i had a lot of time experimenting with weps/upgrades.. and by far the best i seemed to come up with, was 3 ice gun friends, 2 on the sides stationary with enough range to cover their side, and extend about 1/4 into the other side, and one free moving freezer in the mid, all targeting unslowed, and with max slow power/reload speed, then 1 poison in the mid (he didnt seem to do well so you can prob skip him) 5 snipers, with essentially max range (dont need to max it to cover whole map) and max damage/reload (or as close as i was able to get them to that point) 2 magic wand users, both of them only had about tier 3 upgrades across the board, they just helped on group attacks and one hatchet thrower (i figured he would be big boss damage) but i couldnt really see his attacks too well.. he might have been crucial, or he might have just sucked, not sure

noooo i got to wave 92 then died
i used 2 snipers with 3 range max reload and damage i got that far and i have 4 rocket launchers then added more friends and upgraded them

Hard Mode: Sniper +Damage, Bazooka +Special top corner, Sniper +Damage Both Snipers +Range, Shot Gun +Speed Damage Special Reload, More Shot Gun and Sniper Range +3 Damage +3. Shot Gun can deal up to 1080 Damage per shot with 25 Reload when maxed, DON'T upgrade Range, or only once.

Why Slingshot and Sniper haven't special upgrade?
Slingshot: 15 Stun, causes 10% Speed, +Stun time
Sniper: Headshot, x3 Damage x2 Reload when active +Damage
Shotgun: Range reduces Spread so distance between pellets at limit range doesn't increase

this game is a 10/10 game for me (better than btd seires) :)
