For anyone struggling. Put 4 points into money, then everything else into splash. Put splash towers into each of the 6 corners of the board. Upgrade each before adding the next one. Add air towers when necessary, no more than 4, don't upgrade. This should make getting to level 30 or so very easy. You can work it out from there.

this game is a bit boring... but fascinatingly addictive. i'm at lvl 62 now and still have my fun.
a suggestion: add shortcuts for upgrade (u) and sell (s), its annoying to klick the button every time. otherwise its perfect.

in WCTD2 (if made) can u make the number a current (maybe also too low) double, or extended? so the number can go really high, and wont go into minus? tryed on another site...

I doubt anybody is ever gonna answer me, since no one seems to play this little gem anymore, but i have a question anyways: Is the "next wave" button really of any use? I mean, does he really give me more cash than i would get for the next wave, anyways? Currently, I can kill the first wave with my first tower completely, even before the second wave arrives. The point is, i get interest money for the Money I saved at the end of the round. If i would let the 2nd wave come in together with the first round, i would not get any extra interest money on the money i earned from killing the first wave, right? so -other than faster progressing, the next-wave-button is useless in terms of extra money, right?

I really really like this... I love TD games and hadn't tried this one for some reason. Well worth playing, and deserving of a higher rating also. My only suggestion would be for keyboard hotkeys... oh and for a sequel!

Great game and concept, needs 2 things: 1. A speed up button (1x 3x and 5x). 2. Multiple units (shift click to continue placing units maybe). + if you agree.

I have enough money to build four fully upgraded splash towers, two fully upgraded air towers, 1 slow tower at the very beggining, and just watch them win the rounds!

pretty easy just add alot of triple towers since they can do triple their damage sometimes placing some of those and you can win easy

I think I've worked out what the "upgrade all towers to level X" bug is. I don't know quite how you do this but somewhere you check the current level of each tower type. Something like...

Your current code has the test slightly wrong, you're looking for all towers GREATER than level 10, which ain't quite the same. :)

targeting options would be nice. Like the ability to make 3x towers target air first, or magic towers target magic first.

I had to comment here. I first played this on TowerDefence.net about a week ago and loved it. I was suprised to find out that we had it here on Kong and that it was rated so poorly!! I think this is a great game with tons of potential and I can't wait to see the sequel!

Great game but the towers could be tweaked better. One example is splash tower's splash ability. I have a splash tower all the way upgraded and it was barely hurting nearby enemies. But i digress, this game kicks ass. 4/5. Towers could look cooler. But still, Great Job.

I had to go use the bathroom at lvl 10. came back and it was at lvl 30 with 20 enemies on the screen. this is SO hard

Well I have been playing tthis game for quite a few hours now and I hate how adcitive it is but at the same time love it, and I have got a few things to say.
First of all it is how inovative and original this game is. Not that never before there were TDs before but how it gets out of the box. It is not about killing everything before it goes to the other end, if it was so I would nott have spent so much time on it and probably it wouldn't be so amazing as it is right now. And for the ideia of making it a game where you have to kill before they swarm you is really good.

Second though is the criticism. The game is really repetitive, and what makes it worse is that it is slow. I have come to spend a lot of the time just watching my towers killing them one by one over the time the enemies which i am tired of looking at already and i can not speed the game. Making a speed function button would raise the enjoyment of the game, though it would not make it any less repetitive. Also it is unbalanced. The poison tower would be amazing since it does not have the risk of going through your defences and making you lose a life point but even after leveling it up a bit it still does not have the ability to deal a significant damage and thus not worth the money spent.

Extremely good game. Couple of points though. The award for "upgrade everything to level 10" doesn't work and please, please, please, can you add pause, sell and upgrade buttons. :)

Tower graphics might indicate if the tower is capable of hitting air units. Two air towers seems more cost effective than one mark II air. Cannons seem to be the way to victory. Needs more achievements, and you could show up in a text report window in the bottom right when you get them.

Awesome, but gets very tedious afterwhile trying to level everything up, few more types of towers, and more creeps, and different maps....then be great game. Good concept though

Pro tip: upgrade starting cash until you can afford a triple dam tower. Then throw all of your upgrades into triple dam tower.

i think they should put in a fun setting where you dont get anything, you know like no restriction on how many creeps are in just for fun or even to help you practice, please read the bit where i said you dont get anything in my idea before complaining.
one more thing is it shouldnt give you magic enemys on wave 4, you havnt had time to save up 100 by then as well as buying other towers.

I'm also noticing that the map is failing to load. All I see is white, the towers, and the text. Did you get hacked by any chance?

I had to go afk at level 16, and left it running as I couldn't find a pause button. I came back to the win screen. Perhaps a little more challenge at the end would be good? I DO like this game.
