Would be nice if you made enemy projectiles not black. You can't really see them among all of your bullets/explosion.

I don't feel like some of the gun upgrades are meaningful upgrades. Sure, they might do more damage overall, but the aiming for the shotgun and the grenade launcher change the game more than they contribute.

It has promise, but I don't want to have to keep restarting from day one to complete the goals. I also want to be able to see the projectiles, so maybe a trichrome pallet. The screen is a bit too small/sprites too large, it's hard to maneuver around the enemies without getting hit. Also, the amount of money/cost of things are a bit off balance, since the turrets don't do much and rise in cost quickly.

Pretty good game. One criticism I have though is that the leveling system needs work. There should be a way to progress through the different tasks fluidly instead of having to wait until all three are accomplished. Otherwise, it was pretty fun.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'finish first 3 levels no missing'. I did it without being hit, but that didn't work. Am I supposed to not miss a single shot in 3 levels? If so, I don't even want to TRY doing it!

The game is nice, but the task descriptions are very unclear: windfall mode 30 seconds; does that mean non stop or total?
Kill fifty enemies in the air; does that mean when i'm in the air, or enemies that are in the air? etc.

Interesting game, could use a few tweaks and it would be even better. Like some other people must've said by now, change the color of the enemy projectiles, when the enemy projectile hits the ground it shouldn't be able to still hurt you, lower the price a little or make the weapon upgrades more efficient.

I played for about 20 minutes before I got too fed up with the bullets and enemy projectiles being the same. Drove me bonkers.

This game needs a lot of work. fun idea but the game is impossible made it past level 8 with a lot of frustration. What's with the laser gun it froze up on me. Need to lower the prices of turrets or make them more effective.

It is a neat little game. I like it very much. In addition to the criticism on some of the game mechanics pointed out in the comments above I would like to add that the turrets are far to underpowered. Having 8 to 10 turrets from level 6 onwards does not do much of a difference.

Okay game, but the 'complete all three tasks to unlock new ones' thing is kind of annoying. It'd be better if it used a task system like Chuck the Sheep, where every time you complete a task, it gives xp towards upgrades and opens up a new task slot.

Good game aside from the linear objectives and non-upgradeable turrets. Also I dislike that I buy a new weapon and throw my old one away, I would like the ability to change my weapons using 1, 2, 3, etc if I want to use whatever weapon. Also for those of you having difficulty on the final task of "day 3 no missing". It's actually relatively simple. First off, do NOT upgrade your weapon at all. Shotgun shots count as "missing" even if one of the 3 bullets hit. Also I tried it with the grende gun and that also counts as "missing" even if the explosion kills an enemy. Lame, very lame, right? Since obviously if you kill an enemy it shouldn't be a "miss". Sloppy programming. Also you don't even get anything cool for finishing all the objectives. The ending is really lame and doesn't feel rewarding at all. For as much potential as it had I'd rate this game a 3/5 since I don't really feels it's good enough to be deserving the coveted 4/5 which would make it eligible for badges.

The one thing I don't like about this game is the pattern for objectives. I like playing until I die but the game forces you to suicide. I can reach day 8 but it's meaningless because the objective tells me to do something on day one and the game doesn't count me reaching to day 8 because the next objective tells me to reach day 6.. Wasn't I just on day 8??? Game should just record highest wep, score, turrets, ring count, etc. So that when an objective pops up and you've already done it on a previous round, it counts towards it. Otherwise, I'm enjoying the game.

Collecting rings even with x2 Wind should still get you something like score, and a way to straight up grind would be nice.

the bullets are way to slow, I fall faster then the bullets fly so I can't shoot those under me before I land on them

So, I need to do exactly the three listed tasks to progress... and most of the same tasks are achievements at the same time? Why the hell do you even need achievements with such a system? And the tasks themselves don't track data retroactively, meaning I had to restart to get something done - which I already managed three times up to that point. Honestly, it gets boring and irritating quickly.

Suggestions : (no order of importance)
1. Make the projectiles go faster / you fall slower
2. Give the enemies and their shots either a different color or at least a white / red outline or hue (I understand that black fits with the theme, but c'mon, invisible enemies and projectiles?)
3. Allow the tasks to be completed on individual bases ie. complete a survival, get the next survival available, and keep the upgrades the same, every 3 upgrades from any tier gets the bonus
4. Perhaps a better Windfall system, ie. every 30 sec it goes up by .5 multiplier, or every 10 sec goes up by .1-.2 so that it's easier to earn the money
5. Maybe allow us to keep some of the money earned in the last round, even if only 10-30% it would be a huge help.
Otherwise, I love it, it has great potential to be an amazing game!

WOW... All I can say is that this game is very awesome! There are a few things you might want to work out:
1. PLEASE make the projectiles a different color so that you can spot them easily.
2. When the player finishes an objective, that single objective should be replaced, and even awarded some money.
3. It would be nice that instead of having upgrades to change guns, you should add a leveling system to each of the guns to make the leveling system more versatile.
4. I haven't gotten that far in the game, but I noticed that there aren't that many turret options. If you could provide more options and integrate #3 into this, that would be AWESOME!
Thanks for reading this! It would also be cool if you could port it as an iPod app.

FIRST 3 LEVELS NO MISSING: First of all you only need to reach, not finish, day 3 without missing. I managed it like this. I built turrets with my starting cash, dodged the best I could (I got hit a few times, I had lost about 1/4 of my health at the start of day 3) and didn't fire my gun at all. Much less frustrating than trying to maintain 100% accuracy.

Another example of this unfortunate trend in games that want to revolutionize the leveling up system. It just doesnt work. You can make a "every three achievements, you level up" and then have 5-10 available if you want. When you dont trace things retroactively, it makes the repetition a bore. It also means that... okay, lets say its day 6, i'm doing well. Lots of money, lots of health. I have no interest in continuing, because I need to complete an achi on day 2. Suicide. This does *not* endear you to the player. Its not a bad game, but... maybe have cumulative score give you some kind of bonus? Certainly fix the achi system, and, as DrNugent advised... make the enemy bullets not black. I keep trying to dodge my turrets and can barely see anything. 3/5

Love the art and gameplay, but I do have a few issues;
- Change the colour of the enemy projectiles, thy are far too difficult to see later in the game.
- Windfall mode needs work. When I've gotten it built up to 40 or so seconds (which is difficult enough) I shouldn't completely reset after one hit. Maybe have it take off second per hit or something.
- Levelling up is a huge chore. Perhaps give bonuses for each task completed instead of each set of tasks.

For the finish 3 levels no missing, at least give us a restart button, really annoying for one single miss causing us to have to hit every enemy to die again so we can restart. also do not press E before starting your next attempt, causes a glitch

I think I found a bug:
If I click suicide, and before I begin a new game, I hit 'E'. The turret menu opens up, and I can spend the rest of my money. Then I begin a new game, and the previous turrets are still there PLUS more starting money. Essentially, I can have twice the max of starting turrets.

Pro tip/bug/exploit:
In the death screen you can hit E and buy turrets with the money you still have. The turrets will stay through the next round and won't even increas the cost of aditional turrets.

I would love to see some sort of permanent upgrade - maybe like a tech tree upgrade system. It gets rather boring, doing the same thing for the first 5 minutes and then hoping you can complete your tasks.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It's a really fun game and I like how the tasks and upgrades work. My only qualm is that the projectiles are black, and when you get the gun that explodes everywhere, it's almost impossible to see where the enemy is shooting.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
You have "tasks" to do. Allow people to achieve these before they're listed. I've done several of these, but I'm forced to start over to achieve them.

Enemy bullets need to be changed, maybe give them a white color, all the whites coming for the black, other then that, this game was pretty good 5/5 once I can actually see what the hell my enemies are hitting me with, especially later levels when the tree grows and takes up 1/3 of your screen.......

To beat the "finish first 3 levels no missing" challenge, add two Air Fire towers, keep the pistol, and only aim at the enemies on the ground. You can shoot straight across so it won't miss no matter where they move.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
fix the enemy bullets. the game would be incredible except for the fact that it gets to the point that you can no longer see the enemy's bullets.

i hope the person who thought up "first 3 levels with no missing" hung himself shortly after, good game though but now im ragequitting ive skimmed a ghosts head too many times 4/5

Turrets are useful because they slow fast ghouls and thin the waves out noticeably. 4-5 of each turret and a lot of bullet zen will win you the game; relying on your weapon alone means you have to dodge ghouls as well as shots, and more of them too.
Weapon 4 is best if you can focus on the whole play area, because of the damage per hit. My upgrade pattern was to weapon 2, then save to buy past 3 for 4. 5-6 felt like a downgrade; they weren't necessarily stats-bad, but they made the game harder. I never saved for weapon 7(+?), so that might be good, but 50K from 6 to 7 is too big of a number to justify just to see.
Ghoul shot color. Hate. The bigger the tree gets, the harder it is. Even having the color invert when intersecting the tree would have made a much more approachable game.
Remove pause and move the suicide and menu buttons to the shop. P is too far away from WASD to make it sane to use later on. I paused using the shop instead.
9/10

there is a glitch whereby on the death screen if you press E (open menu) twice it restarts with full health but at the same place as you were before... means you can cheat to the end of the game...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
To finish 3 levels without missing is easy actually. By then you can afford enough turrets to do the shooting for you. Don't worry about taking damage, just don't fire your own gun.
