Definitely need an upgrade to collecting money. Preferably a radius so it doesn't have to go to the EXACT tip of your mouse.

It would be extremely nice if you either A: gave us enough time at the end of a level to collect eggs, or B: made them autocollect at the end of a level. A collection upgrade (magnet) would also be really nice. Otherwise, nice game.

"Penguins are a very interesting species. They can live in any terrain, can don armor, and even take a bullet... however millions of innocent penguins die every year from their inability to walk around walls."

There are three things that this game desperately needs...
1. Improved penguin AI
2. A better method for collecting eggs
3. Hotkeys (1-4) for the abilities

I thought 5/5 this game is awesome, but after penguins kept running into walls or chased disappearing and respawning turtles over the whole map and dying in the process instead of just killing the normal turtle right next to it, this is just a 3/5 game...

Fact sphere: Fact: Penguins will explode when starved. This is the sole cause of both Global Warming, the melting polar ice caps, and the turtle invasion.

if you have it unlocked, level 30 seems like the best place to grind for cash, those spawner turtles give 200$ quite often

Allright, done! Just got the final badge :) Now for my judgement of this game: A good game with a nice idea, good upgrading system, which make for an addictive gameplay, although there are some flaws, for example, penguins do really need an AI upgrade, although this is not that devastating, it is frustrating at times, further, the money collecting system, while a nice idea to keep the player active, gets very distracting at times, as you'll want to maximize convieniency on your power-ups & extra penguin, the money system can make this difficult at times. All in all, a creative and good game, but it's still a little rough around the edges, 4/5.

Somewhat annoyed that my penguin can defeat super armored turtles yet cannot come up with the strength to go through some bushes...

For the concept youve come up with, this is a relatively well-executed game (obviously, theres AI issues) but for me there was very little game to actually play, the idea essentially being to follow sprites around a screen. Perhaps (if there is a sequel) Introducing downsides to parts, e.g. zombies are slower, but more powerful, so managing the penguins actually rquires more thought than "buy the best parts", balancing out a team etc. Invariably, it seems, the most upgraded penguin seems to get stuck on cacti, bushes etc but thats not anything that hasnt been said before. A choice to upgrade the collector would be nice, and hotkeys for the powerups. A reasonably executed game that requires a lil tweaking. 4/5

I agree with the comments about money collecting, that was probably the most annoying part of a pretty good game for me. The penguins are a little dumb, and hot keys would be nice, but those didn't ruin the game.
I have to say, though, I am on the last few levels, and the most I've seen collecting money is $200. Most of the later upgrades are $10,000 to $30,000. This means that I spend a lot of my time finding and grabbing turtle's balls. I cannot say that this makes me happy.

I would suggest discarding the mouse-for-loot mechanic entirely. It doesn't mix well with other mechanics of the game. Certain kinds of successful penguin actually DECREASE your income, because they kill turtles very quickly very far apart, preventing you from mousing to the loot in time. Also, if everything dies very quickly, you loose a ton of loot on the board when the level closes. If income is meant to scale with the success of your penguins, the loot should be automatic. It's not like mousing for loot is all that much fun in itself. It's collision with other mechanics makes it actually annoying, I think.

If an upgrade that allows your penguins to walk through walls exists, all the other upgrades would mean nothing since it counteracts the braindead AI!
Seriously though, the AI is definitely the most frustrating part of the game.

The rate at which money is disappearing is way too quick on later levels - i am missing a lot of it. BUT the starving mechanic makes me rush levels.

So I never got the badges on this because the money chasing was so horrible, Since I want the badge of the day I am wasting my time on very very very poorly thought out game. Yes the money chase is so frustrating that it removes any other aspect that might have made this enjoyable.

it's so annoying that my penguins always get stuck in a corner of some obstacles because of a turtle on the other side so the i bomb that turtle, then like 10 second later it gets stuck in another corner because of the same shit happened again

For those who are not getting badges on Chrome, Click the puzzle piece icon beside the search bar, at the top right of the window. Then click "Run all plugin this time"

I'm not sure a species that manages to regularly miss hitting turtles (which aren't known for their agility on land), can't walk around obstacles to (literally) save their lives and explodes when they're too hungry deserves being supported.

So many things that would have been cool to see: auto-collect at the end of a level, ability to extend life of eggs as an upgrade, fix it so that running the cursor past the egg picks it up and not push it around, AI upgrade (or at least the ability to tell a penguin to reboot it's targeting), hotkeys for the abilities (bombs, speed, etc).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
If it weren't for the badges, I would've quit after about level 5. There is little reward for skill, it's almost all based on how much time you're willing to grind on it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the money collecting in this game is just ridiculous, either increase the radius of the mouse or put in a magnet upgrade

This game gets worse the more I play it. If it weren't for the BotD, I'd have stopped ages ago. Most of my grievances are common (and are the top comments), so I won't repeat them.
