Good game, I liked it, but like people said, a shop and the like would be good. I realize that they didn't exactly have shops for the Germans in D-Day and all, but still lol. And yeah, guys, look back through the posts and you'll see that the author even said he didn't do this to make it sound like a Nazi supporting game. Do research and ask about something before making judgments, really. And he also said, the sad music at the end signifies that war is really sad with all of the loss of lives, my brother went to Iraq for three tours, it's pretty scary knowing you may never get to see someone again. So, don't say the author is an idiot or a Nazi, I think it's a good game and he gets credit for it. 4/5

okay first off i would like to say not a bad idea 3/5 because theres no upgrades and thats the point of defense game....second i would like to say that d-day was one of the battles with the fewest casulties....third people not all germans were bad just the nazi heirarchy...the soldiers had to fight

This game was just made to represent those Germans who were forced to fight. Like he said guy new he was a goner, but stayed to fight for his country. Now if that isn't patriotic idk what is. Decent game, great thought, Great music. 4/5

People who are rating this game low because of some apparent indignation over the history it presents, you are the pathetic ones. Nowhere does this game openly take any side, in fairness it probably presents a more thruthful picture than if it had been done vice versa. Do you also write comments of hate and complain when a game about the Napoleonic wars are released where a player can take the side of the French? I don't think so.

My grandfather like many others fought in WW2. I'm sure he'd tell you that anyone dying is a sad fact of war. A fact of life is that not all the Nazi soldiers were the "EVIL" types movies portray them as.
And don't forget that Allied Soldiers did evil acts upon civilians when they won territory. No side is pure, loss of life is a sad fact of war. And in no way do I see the game designer being a Nazi supporter.
Great Music. 5/5 to balance out the 1/1.

Very good game, would be better with upgrades/shop.
I just wish that the comments board on every war game didn't end up in an argument about the world wars. Come on guys.

It's just not that great... very little effort in the art. Gameplay is boring and basic. No special interesting things other than the mortars. The planes are retarded. You can't avoid being damaged by them no matter what. If you kill them, they crash into you and do damage, but if you let them fly by they drop a bomb. The storytelling is boring and the voice acting is (no offense) bad. The infantry are pointless as well. They do absolutely no damage whatsoever. Even in huge groups.

Sad music and sad comments, but two totally different kinds of sad: sad, but beautiful is the music; sad is the way people seem to interpret this game with wrongfully put accusations. You should not judge something based on what you think the creator meant by it. If you can't empathize with someone, then don't speak up at all.

Releasing this on teh 65th anniversary of D Day is a good idea becasue of the fact of how lucky we were if hitler listened to his generals we would al be lost i give it a 5/5 for ingenuity adn research on world war 2 tactics and how possibly screwed we could have been good job dude

Germans should be able to win, 2/5. And if you're complaining that this is bad because of nazi's ect. I would put it down to you just started WW2 in your history classes and think your all clever. howdy123, specifically, complaining doesn't make you a big, patriotic man.

howdy, the sad music is for symbolizing how futile war is, the nazis may have been terrible people, but still, many lives were lost, and that is where the music comes from. And besides, this is meant to be viewed as from a nazi standpoint, where nazis are right, the sad music MADE THIS GAME, 5/5, and if you sir xeptic, had not added that one little detail, i would probably rate 2/5 or 1/5. :D

howdy, please go cry somewhere else. having problems with reading xeptic's note?????? In a place like this(gamingsite) you should not cry about reality...ITS A GAME :)

ppl that just brainlessly complain about the setting of this game are really really sad.
speaking of sad, the game isn't that good really, too tiny and too repetitive making 2/5 in my book. but an extra point for having so many ignorants screaming bloody murder at the dev when they obviously have no clue, so 3/5 overall.

Grate graphics, great idea, but sorry... after playing it for 10 or more minutes it gets a little boring in this version. Something is missing ... - And realy a compliment for your little note Xeptic. 4/5

How dare they put this game on, after what britain fought for. I give this a 1/5, because the nazis were wrong and i find it sad to be, in a way, mocking what europe has fought for, And how dare they put sad music for germany losing power, and how dare you post this game.

Fun for a little I guess, but it gets boring... It'd be nicer with some variety. Shooting little black dots with the same gun on the same level can only be interesting for so long....

A little note from the author here :) This game is not in any way meant as a pro-Nazi game. The fact that no matter what you do, you'll lose in the end and the sad music when you die is in fact only there to signify how pointless war is in general. Lot's of lives are lost for unnecessary causes. Although I must stress that the Allies invasion on D-Day was not serving an unnecessary cause, as it ultimately ensured the freedom of all of Europe.
Little symbolic things such as Nazi occupied France being portrayed in a red colour, and the Allies in blue are there to symbolise the fact that the German army here is the 'bad side'. This game was not made to force some kind of idealogy upon the player.
Thanks for all the comments so far!
