The picture that tells me to jump on enemies to kill them is pretty unclear. I thought it represented a bomb. Afterwards I tried all buttons to lay bombs :(

I know about the button that moves the cube(s) back to the start position and the ability to jump on them when they are against a wall. The problem comes when the box gets caught on some other terrain feature where jumping on the exposed part doesn't do a thing. Only option is too backtrack to the button and start over. It just gets old and a few levels have multiple terrain features that can snag the cubes. I quit after having it happen on the same level four times in a row on two different features.

Really enjoyed that, some interesting puzzles in the level design. Only a couple of issues: the enemies were a bit pointless, they never really threatened. And the squeaky noise every time you land got a bit irritating after a while. But aside from that, excellent.

@fredzed Usually you you do not have to restart level pretty much all the levels have a switch that reset the blocks if need be.
Great game was fun and set a pretty neat mood. 5/5

Hate having to restart a puzzle because I accidentally pushed a block too far and it got caught by some terrain feature. Ugh. Give us a pull ability please.

I didn't like this at all. Reverse controls suck. It's an artificial addition of difficulty that does absolutely nothing to enhance gameplay... rather it ruins it. The shake-off mechanism sucks, I don't understand why it's even there. Give me a real way to kill/evade the enemies. As far as I'm concerned, it's a mediocre platformer with artificial difficulty.

when i see those blue fire breathing things, my first thought is that squirtle and charmander had a baby. anyone else?

Beautiful and extremely innovative. When I got to one of the puzzles I said to myself, "Could that possibly work? Could the game possibly allow this?" and sure enough, it did. I felt like I'd accomplished a great feat.

mirosurabu , you were ashamed of the quality of the game, but you weren't ashamed enough to not upload it on "your" website, although you did already upload smaller, lesser games on kongregate (extreme gardening).
Xraven , of course he knows about you. You've uploaded your personal resume on "your" website, remember ?
None of you is Kyle Pulver.

A fun game but do the moths do anything as there is what I think is a moth box on the last level (where I feel I am missing something).
The platforming elements are also really strong.

Spoiler: There is a hidden ending. If you notice, in the underworld there are white bug things. You can collect them. On the level were you can actually get to the angel, you should notice the bugs, now in cubes, in the underworld. If you collect all of them, you can get to a teleport. The angel is standing on the other side...
To get the first bug, you must die on the first level. (Use the weird cherry enemy). The rest are found in various locations in the underworld. The alternate ending also provides a hidden level.
If you already completed the game without getting all of the bugs, you can start a new game. The bugs you already captured should transfer over.

Jumping needs to be more forgiving please, precision jumping = fail for me 99% of the time. other then that awesome 3/5. gentler on the jumping and you have a 4/5 from me.

Neat concept. I was surprised to see that both of the worlds were connected. Like others have said, a back story and a tutorial would be awesome.

very good idea (even if I see a soul reaver player in he developer), anywaya good game with good music, maybe a little too short and easy and unfortunately it has no plot or story behind the game so it seem only a time-waster... agood work that could be improved maybe a verge 2 can explain the situation

That was a bad joke...erm,anyways, yeah, Kyle Pulver made this game, Xraven ported it to flash. Kyle has made a bunch of other cool games, go check them out (google "kyle pulver xerus").

I'm the holy developer of this game, I concur. The reason I'm not the one who uploaded it is because I was too ashamed of its quality to do so.

A nice game. Playing with death was interesting puzzle, but also it was to weak. I even didn't think at all I just run and win game. Maybe need more challaging game. 3/5

Great game. Super fun. The head bouncing was difficult but not to bad. Very clever puzzles and the slignshotting from real world to underworld was superfun. A bit more explanation would be good cause it can be hard to figure out at first but once you get it it's a blast. I'd love to see a Verge 2.

@XRAVEN13: Yes, but isn't he the original creator of the game, back when it was a freeware title? Tom Fulp of Newgrounds said so in a blog post.

A nice game, although I would like bouncing on the first monsters to be a little easier - you have to be pretty exact.
