o i beat the entire thing before i realized you could throw ninja stars lol great game though similiar to canabalt but i like this alot better a little bit easier to stay on the platforms with the speed up and down buttons plus i love ingame achievements 5/5

Actually, Canabalt didn't start his "genre". There is another game, an older one, that is extremely similar. I can't recall the name, however.

sorry for double post, but i would just like to point out that the double jump(and regular jump for that matter) can be deadly. it's happened quite often that after a failed jump i fell right into the pit. it can also save you, though, like when you've made a wrong jump and you ended up right beside the platform, just double jump, and it'll save your ass. key word to almost everything in game; TIMING.

@kickassmaster, you don't need the shurikens while you're going at full speed, if you just go full speed and crash right into the enemies, you'll kill them. also, i've found that a good strategy is to hold the speed up button, but to release it at certain points, all while retaining that star thing around you. that way, you'll kill everything in your path, and be as fast as can be. 4/5, really good man, keep it up.

if you run full speed and just spam throw ninja stars, you actually catch up to the stars and can run along at the same speed with them, creating a huge wall of death in front of you :D

Not terrible. It's okay. Too complicated for a game like this lol. Auto run games should just be jump, and thats it. Still a 3/5 though.

Pretty good. The best of the "auto-run" type games I've played (including the half-assed Prince of Persia and a couple others). This was a step in the right direction for the genre, but it's still missing something.

Could use some work. Pretty simple game and concept, but there's really no reason to say that it's "bad." Not original in any way. Not bad, though.

ah i think this game is a bit overated, i didnt think it was that good but still it was definately not a bad game so 3/5 and don't hate me for sharing my opinion, thanks;)

The true beauty of Canabalt was that ir required only one key and was about as simple as a game could get. I like the Double jump and the ability to kill enemies. However, I think that you made it to complex. If there wasnt a slow and speed up then it would take more skill then just taking it easy and going on forever. I personally felt that it was almost required to hold the right arrow down to get the same feel as Canabalt. Where your increase in speed is both needed and feared to have. Thats my big problem with it, I also dont like the sheild thing because it gets rid of the whole purpose of enemies. Over all a good game worth the whole 4/5.

This is a plainly one of the best games on Kong, controls are spot on, a game that anyone could learn but only a pro could master, has all the right elements a ninja should have (usual stuff like fast running and stars but also has invincibility and a grappling hook) there were pros and cons to each speed, and the whole game was just thought outand put together so well it was an instant favorite from me, 5/5 but the grappling could use some work

wow i got the multi kill, super ninja, and run master achievements all at once and the second i got them i died. lucky me

I'm going to have to second everything TheoQ99 said. All you need to do is hold down c and your enemies are no longer a problem. Put in a recharge for that and for the shield to make the game more challenging.

Great game based off canabalt. but too easy. the shield thing makes it so you dont have to worry about enemies, do something like it only works a few seconds then has to recharge. Put a limit of number of ninja stars you can throw at once. Holding c creates a wall of ninja stars. And have the achievements do something rather than just be there.

Regarding the Grapple, its not the arrow keys that applies the grapple, its the jump key, and just as ishooturmom said: just don't hold the jump key down, tap it and your grapple will work more effectively.

this game is SO much better than canabalt cause its easier and cooler and way more stuff to do also needs badges i got ideas like easy badge: ninja runner-run 1500 meters in a single run. Medium badge: achiver of achivments-get all achivements give me a + if u like this
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Too easy. Get rid of the invincibility with the speed running. Add more things than grappling hook and red ninjas... Make the ninja do stunts or something? :P
5/5 though, pretty entertaining.

Congrats on a much improved version of canabalt. This version is a hell of a lot more fun and tuned. Better yet, unlike canabalt which is purely luck based, this game actually requires some skill. It is a bit easy though, and the slow down/speed up in midair thing is a little unrealistic and practically takes half the challenge out the game. The enemies don't really bother me at all since I'm usually going fast enough to kill them with that shield thing. But at least that's one less thing to annoy and frustrate me. Best of all, I don't have random things falling from the sky when it's already too late for me to react and this game doesnt force me to go so incredibly fast I can't see whats ahead of me in time to react, unlike certain other games. 4/5

Realy great :D
And I think going fast invencibility is good. It's a lot harder to hit the platforms on high speed, and that's why you are rewarded. ALso it's a motivation to go fast, and that's what running is about^^
