@ChaoticAgenda The way i do it is: For first deck i do the hunters first to have more leafs (to upgrade sphere as much as i can than put the rest in boosts), then chieftain, desert warrior, frog brothers and then depends on the boosts, you can get a cockatoo for guarantee gold frog bonus, spider or sand knight as it has more dps than lamp and a bit under lizzard but is more reliable.
For second: 3x ice swords, 3x bandit fish, cingulata, captain, bigfoot, then shark with hands/telepath depending what you need.
Poison is bait early on and gold generating cards aren't really needed because you'll have enough gold from monsters. If you don't, just do more merchant guild runs

Anybody have a recommended upgrade order for the first two decks? I usually go for a direct money generator first like Lizard Den. I thought that Poison was going to be useful, but it turns out to be nowhere close to direct damage.

It might be stockholm syndrome but by the time you get the impossible badge, this game really does grow on you. Happy to be done, but the game does actually have its charm.
Impossible badge is just shy of entering zone 4 if anyone is wondering.

I got the impossible badge. Here are my thoughts. This game has potential. There are a variety of strategies, unlocks, and goals you could go for. The enemy hp rising after each kill makes you think about each kill as another resource which is interesting. However all of that is offset by the numbers not being very unbalanced. It costs orders of magnitude more to gold a card than it does to silver the last card, completely blocking your progress. Some cards in the deck are garbage, giving you 1/1000 the benefit of other cards. It is heavily monetized, but even those aren't balanced. If you accidentally buy the wrong thing with gems you are screwed. The achievements cap early into the game so you lose that source of gem income. I am disappointed because just as I started to unlock enough cards, decks, guilds, and heroes to make the game interesting I got the badge. It took 60 hours to get the impossible badge playing approx 1 hour a day.

I finally completed the impossible badge... to be honest, even though I see the insane time it is needed to progress further for much more (just got my second ether card), I am gonna miss this game now. I liked it despite all the negative reasons others have mentioned.

You can click on the cauldrons (once you've unlocked the alchemy tab) to get leaves/spheres/skulls! Why does nothing in the game tell me this?

Idle parts of this are, waiting 24h for guild loyalty cooldown, and hero exp, and waiting for quest. It is fun if when you play litlle bit every day, to get daily card, diamonds quest goals and use 30 mim bonus after guild loyalty. As guild loyalty is min 10x upgrade for guild bonus, with 24h cooldown, there is no point idle for bigger normal guild bonus, also 30 mim gold membership speed up bonus rebuilding after loyalty. ps. Gold membership is only good for rebuilding bonuses after loyalty reset them 0. As progress will stop with normal reset very fast, it will give nothing compare to artifact upgrade, purple manna ball bonus, and shop pernament upgrade.

it is insane to me that these hack "creators" pump out garbage like this and think that making this be 1/5th less tedious is somehow worth 5 dollars on a consumer's part. is that delusion or cynicism on their part? either way it's predatory and gross. this is not a product that effort was put into. it is so lazy and scummy to ask for money for the way this content creator does
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
wait do the hunter's cards from the hunter hero refer to an entire deck or to the cards named hunter? this "game" is so badly written.

I repeatedly use the save/load to efficiently buy the vip cards because the random pearls are useless until I have the cards
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
one of the best parts of this is that the barrier to getting your first gold card is so ridiculous that you'll likely free yourself from the self imposed curse of "playing" this before you start genuinely losing time to it. as people have acknowledged, this isn't an idler, and it's not well built (duh)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
id have kept playing but the discord messages in the bottom are rediculously annoying, would be nice to be able to turn off...

And it looks like another game with a save function so pathetic and full of holes that exporting every time I wanna close the page is the only realistic option.

WOW Tried to rate Balbanes comment as positive several times. Every time it just kicked me back to the top of the paige.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@archerbob: Then...you are definitely doing it wrong. It took me roughly 4 months from start to the impossible badge. You have to switch between guilds regularly to boost them all.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Why did everything reset? I've been away for 50 days, but I came back to a NEW GAME? It doesn't make sense. Where's my old progress gone?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I first played this game in May of 2023. I forgot about it. Came back now for the BotD and after 300 days away I can advance through two new monsters. Way to idle...

You have to remember that the age of games is basically over. It probably ended shortly after the turn of the millennium. More and more "games" are being designed, not to be an enjoyable game, but to make money. I know the "devs gotta eat" fact, but it's obvious it's way past that. The industry is now flooded with microtransactions and Mobile crap. We, of the console era, have been seeing it for a while: most games are now ONLY digital, so less and less physical games (discs). The other tactic, especially in Idle games, is to increase the play count as much as possible: the higher the count, the more they make the façade that it's great, like company spamming high ratings. The main way to do that is to make things take SO long, you have to keep coming back for literally months, probably a year at least, over and over. That's also why badges like this impossible badge set such a high/late standard so you'll have to do just that; it's a bit of a collaborative business effort.

Someone needs to explain to the new badge guy impossible isn't meant to LITERALLY be impossible. No wonder they shut down the forums, so they could ignore complaints!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I've been playing this since June 4th 2023 and so far I have e62 of the e100 needed for the impossible badge... the going is extremely slow and I am at the point its virtually impossible to upgrade anything as I cannot get enough gold to do so.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Do cards purchased with gems remain after a reset? Gonna get pissed if those just vanish, like the time I've invested in this game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
For those complaining about making no progress-- don't stick with just one guild, you gain bonuses from all the guilds that are active even when you're not in them
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Not bad, but it seems like an awful lot of effort to get just a bit forward each time and then you need to reset in order to get to the next level. I've got most of the badges and I think I'll just stop now.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
is there a faster way to get the green potions for ethereal cards because the idea of it eventually being a matter of literal days per card simply because of a random cooldown seems uh.. bad.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I got the impossible badge a month after the easy badge. If you made no progress in 71 days, you were probably doing something wrong.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I waited 71 days and killed 0 monsters. I don't think the HP value changed at all. Not even a single bit. I'd need to like fill each Planck length in the universe with another universe, fill each Planck length in each of those universes with like a trillion decks which attack a trillion times per second and wait until a trillion times the heat death of the universe and probably still not defeat the monster.

Cheating is basically required in this game because even when cheating, just clicking over and over to get cards to a high level takes forever, let alone having to earn each card. That's just literally impossible. Collect all cards. Turn one silver. All normal cards disappear. Now do all of that over and over. Turn one card into gold. All non-gold cards disappear. Now get all the gold cards. The next level is ether. The level after that is cinder. The last level is magic. That's multiple orders of magnitude of insanity. That takes probably hundreds of hours while cheating infinite gold etc. and a lifetime when having to earn enough gold for each individual card.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
"Offline time: 73 days, 1 hour, 40 minutes. You killed 0 monsters. You made 0 gold." So the game remembers I've played (for BotD) before, but nothing else? No wonder I gave it 1 star. Add in those top comments, which I remember are all true, and I vote that this "game" needs removed.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
With boost running I've been stuck at e45 for ages, my main problem at the moment is that I cannot make enough gold to upgrade cards any further and am starting to think the game is broken
