I find myself randomly clicking too much and never getting anything that works, in other words there is no skill, it's 90% luck. If there were more strategy involved, like the ability to pick from two block types and maybe some kind of field obstetrical, I would feel this is more of a game than a click-fest.

Nice little game, but a bit too random! And the "open on four sides" block is a game killer... however, even with that block it is strangely addictive...

On my 4th attempt I got to level 6.
I'd like to see a better indication of when the liquid will progress - failing a visual depiction that shows exactly when it'll cross the boundary, some sort of timer on the borders would be nice.
My main annoyance was the luck factor. In one level, due to the position of the source, I NEEDED one particular type of pipe and it just didn't appear even after 10 placements.
I'd suggest a counter and if one type of pipe has been shown far less (say t like the execution immensely but do like your interpretation of pipe mania.

Quit at level 20, my wrist started hurting. As the levels progress, the game only gets harder from the fact that the grid becomes smaller and harder to click. Once you get past the first few levels it becomes way too easy and more of an endurance challenge.

got to level 10 with 587 points rist starting to hurt got like 50 someting in level 9 got a good headstart level 10 only 13 with that 13 i lost but still great fun 5/5

Maybe to show the 'flow' timer, you could even just incorporate a time-meter into the bg of the currently-filling pipe.

Top scorer, only because this isn't a unique game... it's actually a very old pipe-puzzle.
Then again, 5 kb challenge probably means this game fits :)
