but it doesn't work anyway. no wonder no-one could figure that out. i just mixed a long leg with a medium leg 4 times, and got only long legs, when they should be short.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
ok so apparently there isn't any randomness, and it's using the right code. selecting a medium and then an extreme produces that extreme, but first selecting the extreme and then the medium produces the opposite extreme! so the trick to winning is making sure that you always have mediums. short furs, one sharp tooth, medium legs, medium arms. basically just make that and ignore everything else.

nice idea. but too much based on luck. and when u need to click on one who is behind another one u have to wait and lose much time

no mute... btw... if the brown is male, and pin is female.. does that mean when we breed brown x brown... it means 2 males going at it and actually giving birth?

This game has a great concept, but it severely flawed in that every monster with a certain trait will be wiped out, and then the very next round you end up needing that trait. Also, the controls are rather sluggish; I was not always able to create 5 babies each round (the maximum) because of unregistered mouse clicks. Good idea, but this game only deserves 1/5 because it's not really beatable.

My little guys were asexual; sometimes I'd click on one and it'd go into the tent alone and out would pop a young one. I had the same problem as everyone else, needed ones died off too soon. I was left with one fuzzy and the game ended. If only it knew fuzzies were asexual...

Good game, a few tips are befor you start the lvl find you guys and remate them over a few times but not the whole time, then re NEED ressisive genes, have sharp teeth , thing but existent fur and medium arms and legs. Thats the key to keeping you going, so you canbring back breeds after the last of them have died

You have to actually plan ahead to do well, selecting varied traits over slightly better focused ones for the season. That way you are never caught off guard.

Take out the real time aspect, allow a certain number of pairings per season, and give more detailed information on what traits each member has.

maybe the game could evolve as you go with new abilities to boost your chances of survival. also if it was based on a chance based system where someone who fits perfectly has a 90% chance of survival, someone with no fit had 10% and someone with partial had 50% then the game could last longer.

its just a math equation. keep all variables in play and you win. not that i couldnt complete this game. i just dont feel like a game should become a math equation. good attempt though. not a winner for me.

Guys, the traits aren't random. They depend on the parents traits of course, and also the order you click them, but there's no random element. There are a few surprising combinations, for example SHORT + MEDIUM = LONG, and LONG + MEDIUM = SHORT. Check the instructions, and it will be slightly easier.

needs more work in terms of the signs letting us know what we need. or at least an explanation of them in the instructions. you shouldn't assume that every one who plays your game is going to understand it.

Really fun game and idea! However, there needs to be a way to re-introduce genetic diversity, either with random mutations, "buying" members, or have members awarded to you every so often. Lots of potential here!

The time limit definitely has its draw backs especially since this is paired with slow mating. It is really hard to figure out what pairings will create what you want. I think this is a fun and interesting game, but it needs a little work to make it really enjoyable.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
fun, but kind of hard! I wish we could mate more than one couple at a time, otherwise the population declines dramatically quickly

is it just me or is shaman the only 1 who is not efected by events?
and all tribesman seem to have both sexes so every1 can breed with any1 else.
and i agree formulas r wery compicated (no ofence but its true ) but with a bit of tweeking it could be a hit :) 4/5 for now.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Cool idea, but the formulas are so arbitrary, it could as well be random.. (in fact it would be better). Maybe you can think of more intuitive combination results? Or maybe some way for the player to see what he's gonna get? Right now the challenge of the game seems to be to memorize the formulas.

Nice idea, but it just doesn't seem to work for me - one season had every single baldy bugger die, then the next season, it announced that only baldy buggers could survive, so I'd need to breed lots of those... WTF...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Would be great if the clicking would be more accurate. They move around a lot, and there isn't a lot of time to breed enough to survive. Plus sometimes they won't recognize clicks for a few seconds.

would be a really fun game if the random number generation weren't so horrible. mixed a half sharp half fur with a naked flat-tooth five times. got a full-fur sharp tooth 4 out of 5.
