Atkonis: I've made it a little easier. There is some time after touching the monster, when another touch will not stop him from going up. He will go a bit slower though. It should be enough for now, i will make a better solution later when it's needed.

so i would just like to say i can never get to 500 ft. because of that lousy stone block whenever i get hit by a block it is usually followed by the stone which then in turn destroys any recovery blocks and kills me i hope you can improve this somehow since it kills the gameplay ih higher feets

Or better yet simple and elegant monster gets acustomed to beeing hit ;) meaning first time he stops with open mouth and each next time the stop time gets shorter and he starts moving with his mouth open to lets say current value

Well it would make it much harder and well current solution is deadly i played some more and game in overall is much harder since all timings changed you cant exactly know if a block your jumping on is going to be safe (since monster stops for a while little bad luck and monster can be much faster) i would advise to some middle ground no double jump and while a monster has open mouth he can move no faster than some proper value

Nope isnt an anwser puts a limit to how far you can acctually go, since ( i assume) speed of monster is related to the distance between point where monster will stop and where it is now i played few times and speed of monster after 500 m is not much smaller then of jumping up and since now the monster goes up with his mouth up its propable that after 600m he will be simple unevitable doom, i think that your solution of zeroing jumping ability is better.

@Atkonis: new version is informally dedicated to You :). I've changed the time of holding in place in relation to time of opening of mouth. It was equal, now monster starts moving again shortly after he opens the mouth. Tell me what you think. I hope it doesn't brutalize the early gameplay too much.

3/5. No real explanation as to what I'm supposed to be doing. Game is fun at first but gets old quickly. Questions: Whats the difference between colored blocks and gray blocks, why do i get pushed down so hard, and why is this music so...bad?

@Atkonis: respect, man. Nicely noticed :). I'm impressed. I have some idea how to fix it - touching the monster should zero the jumping ability -, but if you have any better sugestions, please send me a message, or post it here.

Needs more type of blocks, like, one which explode (in a 4X4 range or something), one which disable Gravity (all the blocks fall down) and one which do the inverted effect of that Heavy Block (Create a pillar of blocks when he hits a block). The game is already good, fav'd, and a 5/5 Note! :)

cool game. ha i was really high, but fell down a massive hole right into the monster. i agree. worst tetris player ever. :) 5/5

Sephiroth I will assume its to me, as i read it now i somehow left out when does the double jump occur its when your hit AND you have to be standing on a tile when hit so the strategy is --- stand on a tile waiting to get hit, jump any place higher (with double jump its not so hard) wait for monster(you can make a small pathway in the meantime) repeat until monster disapears

The controls kept bugging out on me. The character would keep geeting stuck in a continous jump or it would start running left nonstop causing me to atomatically fail.

That was B.S I fell a good 20 meters without hitting any blocks and then 2 blocks right above the monster and got eaten

Where does it say that the person controlling the pieces is playing Tetris? This is an avalanche of tetrominoes, 4 block pieces. That's why it's called TETRis

KINDA SPOILER'o-BUGGISH
Unfortunetly game has spoitable mechanics that even result in a (i assume)bug.
Since monster stops each time he hits you, and the hit creates a jump thats not counted as a jump (meaning you can simply jump in the air again) its not to hard to survive at the bottom especially since after a while (assuming you start on 400 meter)) blocks dont bother you anymore, furthermore the monster "dies" after prolonged beating --- meaning he dissapears (or rather is transported to start position) and since blocks fall faster then you could possibly climb, you can go as high as you please not beeing bothered by anything.
The monster disapearing bug checked twice.

You know what would make this game fun? Buyable upgrades. Like, more jump, or less of a knockdown when you get hit by incoming tetris blocks. Yeah.

by the way everyone I don't think those are his ears, I think their his arms. notice how everytime they wiggle he moves upwards.
