4 HOURS OF DOING LEVEL 40 AND I DIE TO PRESSING SHIFT JUST ABOVE THE UP ARROW WHILE ON THE DOOR
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Putting shift as the suicide key without giving the player an option to remove that key binding is the most ridiculous thing I have seen in a game ever.

Ok I love this game, I've been looking for a platformer on PC for a while and this is perfect. The first thing I don't like is the void hitbox, since in SMM2 it's a bit lower and with similar jumps to that it feels a little wonky.

I started this journey on Jun. 30, 2011. and I was finally able to finish this masterpiece of a game today. I really enjoyed this game.

3rd attempt at the impossible, this time with 14518 deaths; the only way I could beat 40 was with an external keyboard - the one in my laptop was just not responsive enough! I had more than 3000 deaths on that level alone before I tried an external keyboard, got all 25 coins in a couple of hundred...
Good fun though!

I have 100% completion up to 29, missing 5 coins from 30, then 100% up to 37, missing 7 from 38, 100% for 39, and missing 25 from 40 and 1 from S6. Can't get to SX yet.

It's so cool seeing the creator go from making flash games to making games like Celeste (which I love). You can see the inspiration already

Just started this again after never unlocking the impossible badge (closest i have been is 904 coins in 2012). This time i will finish it.

Love this game. It's like the vertigo llama except the execution lived up to the idea. Great, small challenges one at a time. The movement is tight, and provides a lot of room for getting better at the game. Any coin can be done by itself, no need to be perfect for a whole level, just get one coin at a time (still mad about vertigo's stupid "beat 10 levels in a row without dying, 6 times" garbage). And the secret levels still make me laugh, absolutely hilarious. This game will always be a classic

so lets do some calculations .... 15 continues hours for the impossibble with 2341 deaths
Also a note why is death high score starts from the highest

Thumbs up for those who makes the same mistake more than 10 times
i passed the green bird like 3 times in the same level and then finished with the door without killing it and taking its money

okey so from 1am to 10 am just to get a hard badge while i was aiming for impossible from start
tell me after all this 30 levels what makes the last 10 impossible
also took me 1873 deaths

ok how are the number 2 and number 3 highscore on deaths not banned? there names are literally h4xx0Rz10 with a perfect 1000000000 and InHacker which is just that score +1 number 4 has this issue but at least their name doesn't have the word "hack" in it.

I can't believe...yesterday i passed all the secret levels and was stuck on level 40 for 2 hours, them i gave up...but today...today i completed it with 25 coins on the first try,and got my Imp badge...

The bigger the game window looks, the better you’ll make those jumps. I was able to make precise movement even on freaking level 40. I just zoomed in on my browser which was the only way to easily get the impossible badge.

How do you get up to the yellow bird on level one in time? Also please forgive me but on the shown comment for SirKILLaLOT879, ignore the flag. I accidentally clicked it, sorry.

Success has been achieved. After about twelve hours of gameplay across two afternoons, and the help of a guide to find some secret rooms, all coins have been collected. I've known this game since 2009 and could never find the patience and skill to beat it. Now I am 24 years old and my cognitive skills have developed enough to allow me to master this game. Extreme victory!

The developers cannot be serious. Any serious game would not contain speedrun levels whose feasibility require the initial line-up of moveable objects in the screen, and then not give the player any control of that initial line-up EXCEPT by waiting like an idiot!

I just love the combination of features this game provides: Framerate slowdowns, floaty controls, and pixel-perfect gameplay. I truly wonder why Nintendo hasn't chosen this formula for their Mario games!

This game's character movement is an eternal black mark in the developer's CV. I guess they won't be teaching game design anytime soon! Forever unemployed. Good job!

It usually takes me 200 deaths for one level and im already raging... how the hell you guys are able to not die of anger at 1600 deaths?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
And to think the creator of this game also created Celeste. Compared to that masterpiece, this is rubbish. Still a great game, very fun game if you enjoy pain. :P

A double jump is a DOUBLE jump not a TRIPLE jump, Jason. Maybe play a bit more Putt-Putt Junior Adventures before you try to run with the REAL gamers.
