so you post a game on kong, somehow get it onto steam for 10$(a travesty considering the content level) and then rename your kong upload as a demo and spam the players to buy it on steam every 60 seconds . . . reported

taking the time to lay out nicely the conveyor belt with all units needed (color mixer, painting unit, balancer, etc) and adding the extractors in very last has produced the most satisfaction for me!

i like factorio this game was fun for about 5 minutes then got boring completely 2/5 cause i only enjoyed for 5-10 minutes

Fun game, but really finicky controls. Trying to drag a conveyor is a nightmare, and after 20 tries I've covered the screen in conveyors but product doesn't reach the center. Also had to place numerous extractors before any would send product - how to rotate an extractor?

A bit disappointing. I'm a big Factorio fan, but part of the fun of that was resource management and designing optimally-efficient factory layouts. The fact that everything is free and it's incredibly cumbersome to get multiple conveyor belts feeding a single source makes this feel like an idle game.

An update that just adds a nag screen? Seriously? BTW: save doesn't work either. Explicitly hit the save button on close, loads a few minutes in the past nevertheless. 1/5

I don't like the restriction on the game saves, I say 2 is good, as you can get 1 for story mode and 1 for freeplay mode! (You could also make it so you can only have 1 story and 1 freeplay at a time.)

I like the game a lot but it loses a lot of the challenge once you reach "freeplay" mode. Rather than a constantly expanding item list it reduces to scraping everything but your blueprint factory and building whatever random 2-layer object it tells you, wash, repeat.

Erh no Anardi, that is how you are supposed to make the shapes, you will never find, for example, a complete fan spawned in the world, ever.

I'm not sure if you need blueprints (lvl12 I think) unlocked, but you can select massive areas while zoomed out to clear them (delete button).

Got tired of trying to find a certain shape on the random map, so instead I found one that had half of it correct, then used a combination of cutting, rotating and stacking to create the shape that I needed from the pieces. A bit round-about, perhaps. But it worked. Was a lot easier than searching the map in random directions for hours.

Can I suggest adding some form of clear all button in the menus or a drag to highlight function to allow me to mass clear certain areas? I sometimes want to redo things more efficiently and having to clear everything manually makes that a painful process.

Its a fun little puzzle, but I can't shake the feeling theres no point. Theres nothing that drives me to do one thing over another, and optimization is only worth it to drive me to pointlessness faster. In factorio you make stuff you can use. Again, this is my take on it, other people may feel differently.

Putting in identical blue half squares and most them are not tallied for the task, but they are tallied for upgrade.
Besides that, this game is a tad boring.

To follow up, whenever I delete anything, the shapes are stored on the tile, so if I was deleting an object because of overflow, the overflow can't be fixed

I do have a problem with the conveyors. In a merger, when I place a conveyor on one side and a trash can on the other side, the conveyor aims towards the trash can, making me lose anything I just did.

Finding out the quad painter paints each quarter separately is a hard pill to swallow after I created an entire convoluted setup to make the level 18 block for an upgrade (which included laying a 3/4 piece over a 1/2 piece to create the smaller corner and i would cut off the right side and reglue to something)

You say it's not an idle game, but after I've solved a puzzle and gotten the output, there's not a lot of interest in going and duplicating the process. Space isn't at a premium, nor is cost a factor, nor is defense. I have all the items needed for the level, and all four researches having all items produced. Why make me wait? Alternately, more researches, or achievements or something to work towards actively.

UI is overly cluttered, which wouldn't be a problem if the textures didn't also look godawful at zoomed out resolutions. If your "hey pay me money" message is so prominent it gets in the way of enjoying the demo, it's not likely to be an endearing advertisement.

1/5 Boring. Plus you have no delete button so if you put a extractor or conveyor belt on accident then Oops! Guess you cant use that spot anymore for the rest of the game. Its too boring to play as well because all you do is look at a screen thats monoscale for 10 minutes and click ONE button and wait 10 more minutes, and you want people to pay 5 dollars for this shit? Actually the worst game i have ever played on kongregate

Quite interesting that making a row of Overflow Containers actually transports at a significantly higher speed than my 20 Ips Conveyor Belts. Equally as interesting is that Distributors transport double as fast... Might as well make a long line of distributors and forego Conveyor Belts :P

Suggestion when you're thinking color-blind stuff; Hatch patterns. Also, it'd be nice if when a machine is working, it has some visual indication, like a spinning wheel.

Odd. I'm on level 10. I need blue star shapes. I now have a blue star shape going into EVERY input. none of them appear to be correct. EVen the hint shows the exact same thing I'm doing now.

Finding a specific shape in this hellscape is impossible.
I've yet to unlock the combiner, but I still wanna upgrade my painters.
So how or where do I find the ninjastar looking thing made up of trapezoids?
Puzzleaspects are nice, UI is shit, and the constant nagging about giving the dev money makes me wanna dox a bitch. 5/7 solid game

The inability to cross conveyor belts or create t-intersections on conveyor belts pretty much killed this in the first 30 seconds...

I think in order to encourage the player to design efficiently, there needs to be a system in place to limit how many 'buildings' the player can create. Whether this be through a system in which you spend money that you get from "selling" blocks at the hub, or by allowing upgrades to the "Max Allowed" for each structure.
