This game is pretty great! Upgrading could be a little better, but the game is still challenging, fun, and beatable. 5/5! :D

Using Demithycs' idea i managed to beat the first level with every life left, except I fully upgraded fire rate on sniper and switched the order of gold and fire.

A lot of people would probably flame me for this but, this game is actually pretty easy. :/
All I did was build a sniper tower. Upgraded it until it had max reload and a couple of range so that it could reach almost hole map. Then waited for $4000 and built the last tower at the right, placed it bottom left near entrance. Upgrade again. Then gold tower. Upgrade. Then you build shock tower. Upgrade. You win. :/ - Try it first before you rate this comment. Really.

At first, I didn't like this game. I could just tell that it wasn't a good one. I got my first in-battle achievement, and I was happy. Yay, extra money! But this game relies on those achievements. If you don't get them frequently, almost after every battle, you can't keep up. Perhaps it is my lack of strategy, or a wrong strategy, but I can't seem to get past wave 18... Or so I thought.
One sniper tower, placed almost dead center in the screen. Upgraded as they come up... Deadly. Wave 22 is when it finally hit the reload speed of the machine gun. And with over 9,000 damage per hit, I am amazed by the power of this one tower. Once it hits the higher levels than that, it can take down the 200,000hp Monsters before they reach the first turn. Absolutely breathtaking.
Add two maxed out Golddigger towers and a maxed shock tower or two, and you can almost take down the final bosses... But I never need to take them down. I always have over 10 lives by the final round.

I like Tower Defense Games, and this is one of the best in my view. And for those who are wondering, Fujitsu is a Computer Company.

It's not hard, just get to understand the towers' strengths. Make killzones with heavy hitting AoE towers (cannon or fire/flame), and plenty of shock towers near it. You won't need many damage towers, so the ones you do use get lots of experience. A few high level towers with maxed speed while enemies crawl at 0.01 speed... equals carnage.
Very nice game!

how the hell are you supposed to win? ithe latest wave i could get to was 23, then i noticed that every enemy had over 20k hp and i died from a nonstop swarm, plz add damage upgrades?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Different levels should have more waves of enemies. For example second map should have 100 waves, and third 150.Shock towers kick ass :D.19lvl of shock tower kills last bosses even alone if upraded to reload time 8, and range cover all map :).Simple, but great game - 5/5 from me :).

The game needs a way to speed up the pages of the intro. There's a SKIP button, but no NEXT. Why is the game's title Fujitsu Defender? What does Fujitsu mean, and/or what does the game have to do with anything Japanese?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
highest level i got to was a level 19 fire tower w/ about 21k exp, did 49045 dps and had a fire rate of 8 and range covering the entire map xD

Yeah, and just to clarify for any new player... Here's why fire towers simply dominate:
1) AOE (area-of-effect) damage
2) Damage over time, and
3) Damage over time that STACKS (so if your tower does 100 dps, the creep will burn at 100 the first hit, 200 the second, 300 the third, etc.)
And now ya know how to take on the Hardcore mode too =)

Ok, for those who don't want to figure this out on your own, or find it "too difficult" - here are a couple videos: Waves 1-20 and 31-50. I only use 4 towers, just to make it as easy as possible for you to follow. There's a sniper tower, fire tower, ice tower, and shock tower. If that's too complicated... I dunno. Stick to playing tic tac toe maybe?

Ok, one quick response to those of you still having trouble... upgrading SPEED is ultra-important, especially with fire towers for 2 reasons:
1) You get more damage, and keep in mind the damage-over-time STACKS
2) Your towers gain experience much faster, therefore getting to the "serious damage" faster.
If you're building more than 1 sniper tower, you're doing something wrong. I'll try to post a vid of how to beat the game. Youtube has a 10-minute limit, but that might be do-able in normal mode.

Correction... I meant FIRE tower (the cheaper one). Flame towers are great too, but the fire towers are acquirable early-game, and they do insane area-of-effect damage over time that STACKS. Hence the uberness and riggage of said tower. Sorry for the confusion =)

Guys, guys... the game isn't hard. Take a few minutes to read through some of the suggestions here. Do a search for "Fujitsu Defender Strategy" or something like that. Or just try this: Start with a sniper tower. Save up until you have enough for a FLAME tower. Then get an ice tower, then shock towers (at least 4 of them). Try for 2 flame towers, 4 shock towers, and an ice tower. And remember... upgrading speed of towers increases their XP gain, which makes them more POWERFUL. Upgrading is more important than massing. Hope this helps!

This game is very fun, but, for some reason, it seems nearly impossible to actually BEAT the game. Other than that, I think it is extremely fun.

I do not know if this has been posted, but one of the five star towers upgraded to a bigger single white star. How far will the game allow you to upgrade? And how far can you really upgrade in a game?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I don't have a problem with this game. Just buy a Minigun or whatever at the beginning, and just upgrade its range. Second things is get a Frost Tower.

Once you hit level 20 (50,000 xps) with any tower you will about 3 million damage, and once that happens you get 100 levels each round or so until you get INF damage. Which obviously means one hit bosses. And you keep on leveling there is no end. Hope this answers people's questions.

Rubish is a neat-sounding word... never heard of it before though. Maybe try "rubbish" - a synonym for "trash." Your argument carries very little weight if it is only accompanied by very little thought & effort.

Guys... if you're struggling with the game in "normal" mode, you're doing something terribly wrong. Just be sure to upgrade your skills after every turn. At least watch a walk-through on u-tube or w/e. Flame towers do area of effect and crazy damage over time. Shock towers are also a must.
If a game is *simple* for some people, and "impossible" for others... well, let's not draw any logical conclusions as some people might feel insulted.

I agree wave 9 is really hard, but its possible to do it, i won it.Anyway really good game plz make a sequel! 4/5 add a plus if you think this game needs badges!

I Don't really get the the game , it says that you have to leave earth to get more resources and when your on a different planet there's a road but overall i think it was a pretty good game but wave 9 has to many strong monsters to my opinion
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Cannon tower IS strong when fully upgraded. But so is sniper, machine gun, and just about every tower... in *regular mode.* But please try these towers in hardcore mode first before you taunt their superiority. Cannon towers aren't as effective as flame towers early-game, nor as your primary damage. Decent secondary damage perhaps. =)
