I think that there is a bug where the ninja doesnt poison the enemies because ive gone through a whole minute long boss fight, and all the way to the next boss without any of the enemies getting poisoned. I know it isn't 100% chance that the nemies get poisoned but it isn't that unlikely to happen.

There are some skills that reduce or ignore enemy defense, but enemies doesn't seem to have any relevant amount of defense (assuming it works the same as it does for your own heroes), this is awkward.

YYZ133 made it using Unity. As for looking for a good engine there's no one best engine, most of them have different tradeoffs. Unity is generally better for multiplatform, one size fits all but the tradeoff is that sometimes certain things are not done as well as engines designed for specific purposes. For example, Unity's pixel perfect support is challenging, physics is cumbersome, etc. And in an unfortunate case of events, trying to load an entire engine into a browser this large is problematic in the case of WebGL, because WebGL is still in its infancy there's a lot of compatibility issues and of course memory issues for lower end computers.

Being unable to open the WebGL version of the game, I used the Web Player link provided. I didn't fully realize that the game saves didn't actually work with the Web Player link provided. Lost 2 days of progress after a power outage. Sad. Good game, but can't start over again with no working auto save.
Anyone know how to fix: An error occured running the Unity content on this page. See your browser's JavaScript console for more info. The error was:
SecurityError: The operation is insecure.?
Hi I am not very sure what you are saying but it is very confusing. So I will try my best to infer. I am assuming you are unable to run the game on WebGL because of SecurityError: The operation is insecure. In this case, it is likely you have disabled your cookies, you need to enable that for the game to run. But on top of that, the other things with losing progress because of power outage is something that cannot be helped, the game does auto save on Web Player but if your power outage somehow corrupts your save file (not very likely) your game should still be saved. In any case, I am very confused with what you are saying. You can drop me a pm if you want to follow up on this.

So, once again, I come back on and it says my level is 30 and my backup is 25 and I only have the first two heroes. But my level is well past 30, in fact I'm on 65 with the thief back in my party. I even hit the "backup file" button before going to bed. I figured something would go wrong, so I exported my data just to be on the safe side. Only problem is that I don't get the offline bonuses.

Idk if it'd be easy or not, but how about when all your characters die no one respawns until they're all ready. I can't tell you how many times i've gone through something like this: Okay I can beat the boss at floor 145 while idle, I'm not to the floor 150 boss yet, so I'll just turn on auto advance. I probably can't beat him yet, so idling on floor 145 will be fine for a bit." About 10 minutes or so later I come back to find my guys farming the boss on floor 135 instead. That means that my paladin died on floor 150, so it went down to 145. When i was there either my wizard or ninja revived without the other one and was quickly killed, down to 140. WHichever one didn't revive last time (wizard or ninja) revived this time and also got killed quickly, down to 135. My paladin finally revived and can kill this boss like it's nothing, but I'm farming 10 levels lower than I should be and thought I would be.
Good point! I never noticed that. Thanks for providing a detailed scenario so I could see where you're coming from easily and also providing a simple enough solution to it. :) I will see if I can add this into the next update. Edit: Just realized it isn't so simple - in another scenario, if the priest and thief dies, but the paladin is so tanky he doesn't die, the priest and thief will not revive because they are waiting for the warrior to die and revive with him.

It seems as thoug the journal doesn't auto-update, and it's a bummer, it's not a key feature but I found it nice, can you fix that?
Also, great job, keep it up!
Hi, may I ask what you mean by auto update? The journal page updates its entries when you open it, though if you got a new journal entry while it is open, you will have to switch to another tab then switch back to the journal tab to see the new entry - is that what you mean?

Don't bother with the Tap Damage upgrade. Your Warrior/Paladin becomes way stronger than your autoclicking can get. You'll try and max each of his slots (especially glove and shield). The only upgrade you need is Tap Heal, and set your autoclicker on the Warrior when you farm. As long as he doesn't get one shotted, you'll be able to keep him fully healed while he defeats the enemies.

Each time I get so far and have to leave the game, I have to start all the way back to an earlier level and missing all of my upgrades I did. Not sure why it does that. It is probably because I'm using Chrome. I like the game, though.

Not bad, can't wait to see how it progresses. As it stands, it just seems like your average idler... I do love the enemy designs (that I've seen so far.) And the placebo switch for musics was a plus, but as it stands now, it's average at best... Keep up the good work, and I look forward to amending my 3/5 to a 5/5! :)

Just completed the milestone level 200, thanks for the game! Well balanced and fun to play. There's still a few things I would like to tick off to keep me playing for a little longer yet. One thing though, has it been noticed that the Thief's name doesn't reappear after you come out of the cave?

The wait time is brutal. I can destroy everything with no upgrades up until level 35, so waiting is such a pain. Please make enemies spawn back faster, please.

Fun but the fact that hold the mouse down on a shop button for too long counts as buying is really annoying. It should only buy for a click event, not a mousedown event tbh.

I feel like Maplestory was a big inspiration for the game. I mean, machinegun thief used to be a big thing back then in MS haha. I like the game. Needs a bit more because I maxed practically everything on on my second run through.

I fell that the MP cost of the skills of wizard are too high, to use the wisdom skill i need 29329 mp and the skill its in level 15, the skill bless need 76800 mp and the skill level its 10 and the resurrect skill need 2621500 mp and the skill level is 18, the max mp of my wizard is 74580, the level of mi earring its 902 and spirit level 15, and its too expensive to upgrade and upgrade earrings and spirit

thanks, robocop! Just to put the explanation in simpler words for anyone else that needs to know: On the skill purchase menu, click on the skill to find the autocast.

it would be nice if we could choose weather or not to make the blue gems green or not since it is hard to get enough to buy anything in the blue gems store

Guess I'm kinda stuck - at level 55 and towing along the Thief. He needs 100 blue gems to join, but I only have 18. After reading the tips, it said that bosses drop a gem 30% of the time. I've killed the Zone 55 boss 100+ times, but only received a blue gem the first time I slew him. What am I missing?

This isn't on Unity, it would be tagged with it for one if it was, and Chrome removed all Unity compatibility, even in the options of Chrome. So it is not on Unity, Pride.
I may be increasing the death penalty since there is literally no consequence for dying and this makes the characters somewhat "dispensable" - and resurrect somewhat useless later on. However, I won't be doing -10% Gold or -10% EXP as it is too punishing on idle play and I wouldn't like it too. Possibly an increment to the death timer and a slight change in mechanics since your heroes currently blink back to life so quickly that skills like Evasion on the thief didn't achieve what I wanted it to do with the skill. This will be a long time later though since it's not a high priority task atm.

In your next release could you make the free gold upgradeable as well o.o'' if you do that then the likelihood that someone would use cheat engine to change their money value would decrease because there would be no point to get gold if you can upgrade your free gold
Hmm, not sure what you mean. Free gold is upgradable in the shop (it's the very first upgrade that appears when you unlock the shop), and you can even increase the maximum number of "stacks" of free gold you can hold at once.

Quite fun game. The "tap" skill is really unnecessary, though. Tapping the enemy to deal damage or your heroes to heal them is way less efficient than to just holding your mouse over the heal or strike skill to get more heals/more strikes. Also the high prices of upgrading the tap skills makes it even worse.

would highly like a dps function for characters to see how much they're, on average, putting out. Helps us easier gauge if damage or attack speed is helping more.

Fun game so far, i have yet to ascend, however i believe criticals should always do at least as much damage as your max damage, whats the point of doing a critical if its damage is not beyond normal? Yes, i suppose it will eventually become somewhat normal... but it feels awkward to start with a weakened version of a critical and upgrade a lot just for it to become the standard. (x2 of max damage) I am not sure if i was able to convey my point but i definitely hope it shall help the developer somehow. Cheers~
Ah good point! Now that you said it, it does feel awkward when you deal a crit and the randomness of it falls on the lower end of your damage range, and causes it to end up being lower than the maximum normal damage. Especially in early game, when you have not built up your critical damage%, this tends to happen. I will improve the "randomness" of the crit dmg in the next update so the crit will feel like a real crit! Thanks for the feedback, cheers to you too :)

I enjoyed the game. I "won" the game, and wanted to see how far I can get. Each time I get to around 235 and stall. I'm gradually building up my green gems, but without additional features / upgrades the game has become more of a grind and has lost my interest. I may give it another couple of gos, just to raise my crosswinds levels to 15. Too bad there isn't a way to raise the priests max mana level (it maxes out with the upgrade).
