I agree with the people saying how much of a hassle it is to upgrade everything, every prestige. Especially because the most efficient way is short quick prestiges, it really gets out of hand. Gold shop and going through each characters skills+equips multiple times every couple levels. It's just too much keep track of and update every other boss. I've just been doing runs where I only level my warrior and then prestige because its a third of the work. Besides that I really do like this game and I really appreciate how much you respond and all the work you put in. I can't wait till we get a forum and a chat to discuss strategy better!
I have taken note of this (and CodeGuy's comment) and added this to a list of Quality of Life enhancements which I will be work on after addressing some of the main issues as well. There's quite a list of stuff that needs to be done before I can work on quality of life enhancements, but I will see if I can add an auto buy to the shop. Skills / equips are a bit more complex to automate and allow customization for, so it is unlikely I can get to work on it very soon. Thanks for the feedback!

In my opinion, this is very easy to get level skills that will spend mana LOTS , it is very disproportionate , this is more an observation than an opinion .
Hi, I actually made the mana costs high so that you have to decide between what to upgrade with your limited mana pool. You may have realized in late game that it is not always worth it to upgrade a skill even if you have the EXP to do so - which is why I put a level down button, so you can downgrade skills and strategize/experiment with the different skill levels to allow you to see what works best. I understand the mana mechanic isn't very clear so sorry about the confusion. I'm still working on making it better/more interesting. Thanks for the observation!

The busywork aspect of the game is much, much more than just the gold shop. It's the gold shop, 10 different skills (for each character), a half dozen pieces of equipment (for each character) *and* the upgrades for all of that equipment. That's about 70 different things that have to be managed and balanced as you work through the levels. It's fun the first time, but after you've ascended you spend a lot of time making decisions that you've already made before. Just improving the gold shop is only fixing a small part of the problem. There needs to be some way to autolevel almost everything.

I really like the concept you added of Right Clicking the Heal and Strike buttons to enable/disable autocast, unfortunately it does not appear to work. Alongside fixing that, would really love to see it added to the Dark Ritual and Frenzy buttons as well.
Hi, sorry about that, I disabled right click to toggle autocast on skills as it does not work yet. In fact, I didn't know you managed to make it work at all :O (I kind of thought I removed the text that says you can do that lol). Don't worry too much though as I will be adding the right click functionality, hopefully along with other improvements once it is done. Sorry and thanks for the feedback!

Your commitment and dedication to this flash game is insanely commendable. Its awesome to see so many updates and replies constantly coming out. I was thinking about going back to clicker heros before this game was released, but with the abilities and the, in my opinion, better upgrade system, I just cant go back. It is true this game lacks the same amount of content, but I hope that will be fixed in the months to come. Cant wait to see what this Gem, pun intended, will become. :D

How do you gain more capsules? I dunno if it was stated in the game hints or something, I accidentally closed off the new update notes.
Hi, the capsules were a one-time reimbursement for those who had lost offline progress in v0.70.42, to refund back about 8 hours of offline progress + some additional stuff. There is no way to gain more of those currently and they may or may not replace the current offline reward system in the future. Sorry about that, guess I should have made that clear when I added the feature since everyone is asking about it now :[

How to stack Strikes: Have double or triple MP of your Strike cost and an appropriate MP regeneration (Meditation, Stamina Mastery, Mana Leech, downgrade Strike Skill, whatever works for you). Go to an enemy, what you can beat with one hit. Now stay and hover your mouse over Strike skill. You will use this one even if the enemy is dead; respawn time is your friend, not your foe. Because the enemy dies after one hit, you will store more and more Strikes, because warrior cannot use two Strikes at the same time. With Magic Cape can help you to use more Strikes.
That can help you in boss battle. Your warrior is using his stored Strikes without costs and you can use heals. But that is no ruse to beat too strong enemies. If a boss beat you with one hit, he will still do that. But it can be nice, if you have a problem with boss timer.
It's not a bug, it's a feature. Have fun.
Wow...this is the most detailed guide I've ever read on how to use skills so... effectively. I actually did intend for Strike to be able to be queued when there is no monster spawning so you don't lose mana casting skills that hit air, but I didn't intend for Strike to be used in this way though. Consider me impressed! xD
I think the person who mentioned that strike stacks was actually referring to another multi-attack skill instead of strike. I'm not sure if a single attack skill like Strike can be stacked, unless there's some cool exploit that I don't know of, haha
I am still awaiting Kongregate's reply regarding this :( it would be great if people can ask and answer questions there or on a forum, since I can't be around all the time answering everything (it's tiring). Unfortunately I don't know if there's anything else I can do at this point other than patiently wait for a reply from Kong =/

I think there is a bug in the achievements for the single hero equipment levels. It says "total level 3000" for the achievement but only shows 575, which is the highest level I currently have on a single piece of equipment. I suppose this should be for all of the heros items combined?

When you get stuck on a boss, you can "stack" warrior skill strike by going down to a lower level where you can one-shot them with the strikes. When you think you've accumulated enough, click the auto-advance button(or press P) and the warrior goes crazy with the strikes.

Figured it out, if you talk to the thief again (can't believe it took me so long), you can say no way a few times and he only charges 10 gems.....duh!!

It's a decent game, and I enjoyed it for a bit, but I think I'm done after a couple of ascensions. One issue I have is that there are too many things to buy and upgrade. It was fun the first time I played through, but every soft reset makes all these things feel more tedious. It becomes a *lot* of busy work.
Hmm, I'm wondering if an auto buy for the gold shop would be good. I'm assuming you're referring to the gold shop(?), or at least it looks like it. If it isn't then pardon me >< I do get the feeling of it becoming tedious over time, and actually was pretty hesitant to add more gold shop items or levels partially because of this. I'm actually pretty happy that the gold shop is "maxed" out early and prefer to substitute future items in the secret shop which are permanent, but it's something I'm still thinking about.

hii may i suggest a coin magnet option in the shop? i go to sleep and keep the game runing and it could have been nice if u had magnet to collect the coints (so it will count by hand = more gold) ill be happy if u think about it :)
Hi, thanks for the suggestion about the gold magnet, but it will need some work or otherwise it would just mean that there would be no point between having the Manual Loot upgrade in the first place, as it would otherwise just mean +passive gold gain, defeating the point of manual loot with the loot magnet.

Right now at the point in my game the mage and thief feel useless almost. I think a buff to them would be beneficial or maybe a slight decrease in the paladin's power?

Which screens are you generally lagging in more than previously? (eg skills tab?) Or does it lag when you open a particular UI window? Like the shop or achievements?

@Shynygami I think it has to do with offline progress. I'm at 14.3k monsters killed and can easily hit floor 185+ on each run. I could push it to 200+ if I tried.

Maybe something to do with experience, like switching for gold, after you're done updating your skills to the maximum level or up to the point where the MP usage is so much that you don't really update them anymore.

Hi, if you encounter memory issues when loading the game, try closing a few tabs. If it doesn't work, you can try restarting your browser, open the game and then open your other tabs. I kept playing this game because the dev said that it had a story with an ending. I felt like I was working towards something. But from what I see, the game is just like any other idle. It has no ending. You just play it until you're bored with it. What's the point?
Hi, sorry if you feel that it has no ending as I am working on making the game balanced and adding content to come to make it more enjoyable. Over time, I want it to be easier to reach the end and foresee it will be easier with the new content that is to come. If you feel that the game is currently taking too long, you can take a break and come back at a later time, or if you have any helpful suggestions on how to resolve some of the issues you are facing, I am open to them. My apologies once again as I am still working on trying to balance the game and making the game enjoyable for everyone.

How is calculated the amout of enchanted gems wins ? Because previous level i could win 33 gems and now i can win only 3. So i have to reset every 10 min ?
Hey, you gain enchanted gems proportionate to the number of blue gems you have on you. If you spent all your blue gems you won't have any left to convert into enchanted gems.
