Similar story to chubako, got the easy badge in May of 2010 and here at the end of the line for Kongregate, I finally got the Hard.

Easiest way to boost score and money: play your deck in Bronze rank Arena. 99% of them are 1 HP so get ANYTHING that does damage out and you win. Most of the time your score will soar AND you'll get so many coins you won't know what to do with them.

Naruto231: Money is scarce??? What??? It is waaaay easier now to make money than ever before. You actually get the chance to make money and get rare cards much faster than those who started years ago did. This game was NOT designed so that you can have all the cards all at once; it will take you time, just like it does everyone else (you just get to do it faster). As long as you can often beat level 3, you have a decent deck and can grind. (But you are correct about PvP1 and PvP2; there is very little of that these days.) If you want, you can check out the trainer (located here: http://www.elementsthegame.com/trainer.html), to practice with decks so that you can determine which cards you want. Just choose any element, then on the upper left click All Cards, then on the right select Your Deck, and put together any deck you think you might like and play against the AI there. Or, if you want / need any help with your deck, you are welcome to pm me; I am happy to help.

KittenFlaps: There is still the regular Forum at: http://elementscommunity.org/forum.
It isn't as busy as it used to be, but people do still discuss decks. They have just started another War so some people might not be on the rest of the forums as much as normal, especially during the week. They also still have chat; I believe that most people are probably on their Discord chat now.
There are other resources, but that is probably the best place for discussions.
Or, if you prefer, maybe I can help you. If you have any questions, feel free to pm me.

Man trying new decks out is impossible since money is so scarce. There's no pvp anymore so whatever you have is what you got. Trying to grind out enough money for a new deck is impossible, fix it or give everybody unlimited money or something.

A fine little game, just not very balanced some deck types are clearly better then others and some are just useless against others.

Anyone who is interested, there will be a major PvP event, which will start soon. More info can be found here: http://elementscommunity.org/forum/war/ This will be surely the swansong of the game, I'd advise you to check it out. :-)

The biggest issue I have with thi game is that every effect happens so quickly and I have no idea what the source for some of them is as a new player. I can't see any explanation or move history that explains what moves are happening and why some of my cards randomly get icons or are destroyed. With so many cards, spells, effects and permanents it's so hard to learn and keep track when things just HAPPEN. Some sort of explanation of the moves that just happened would be great

Dmitry, grinding was much more worse back in the day. Nowadays you can get to level 60 in TWO HOURS. Other than that this game isn't really good for soloing, PvP is much more interesting. Check my 2 links below and find opponents there.

Quest 7 is to reach 500 score (as if 150 is not bad enough for a medium badge). Farming 1hp opponents in arena is a good way to go, just buy some weapons for killing them asap, or they can do smth nasty.
I get that this badge has nothing to do with a game but it's far from good introduction to the game. Feels like a huge amount of grinding to actually get something fun. Other badges from "best of 20xx" do it a lot better.

I tried advice from comments to use arena for grinding 150 points. I ended up facing 1hp opponents who just add max hp and stomping me. What a great experience, may be after a long days of grinding i can be like that...

@chubako Almost the Same for me, I would like to add that the progression in this game is one of (by far) the best experiences I had in any game. Ever !

I'm not certain since it doesn't show who made the deck, but I'm pretty sure I end up facing my own deck when I automatically win. I guess there are not nearly as many people on anymore setting up pvp decks so I end up against mine very often, and the game decides I automatically win in that case?

PVP seems partially broken... start game leads to instant win and elemental master because I didn't take damage. I mean, cool it's been a few years since I played the game and I guess I missed out on several hundred electrum from the oracle in that time period, but pvp used to be interesting. On the fourth match I actually got into a duel I didn't automatically win.

WTF?! 1st place in every league belons to multi account of one guy (nfl toros) he must leave this game or has a ultimate method to always win :/

I advise you to experiment more. AI1-3 easily beatable with basic decks. Check your quanta: if you produce too much then remove some and add more creatures. Starting decks aren't good gotta adjust them. Give a bit more time to the game it does worth it.

I thought this game would be a nice, fun experience.
It was not.
The entire game is 'Get lucky or lose'
Strategy doesn't matter, your deck doesn't matter, and your coins don't matter because the game can choose to keep giving you pillars while the enemy who won the coinflip has 20 dragons destroying your healthbar. Overrated.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the game is mostly "underrated" because the arena system. The arena system takes one hp from your deck every day, if you don't renew it. Howewer, the weakened decks are still in the play, thus players can encounter them, and win. A new version is in the making (called open ETG), with unfinished graphics, design, and code.

I found this bug that almost always when I play in the silver league I automatically win, so I get the bonus spin. Although it will usually just say I won the spin but not give me anything. I jumped from 20 gold to 5000 in just a few minutes. Rarely I actually find an opponent that doesn't give me the auto win, but when I do, I sometimes get opponents with 1HP
