I stand corrected, you have black/empty "zero" squares next to a mine in level 27 too, it seems I made the wrong assumption that there must be a "hint" square between a black square and a mine (in a straight line)

I've been playing this off an on since it was put on the site, and I just now realized that you can click on a clue in the game to get a description of what that clue icon means.

Can we please set the recommended range for number of mines in a random board? The amount fluctuates way too wildly, and there's no way to control the difficulty. Sometimes it can be an easy 18, and other times it can be a nearly-impossible 28.

It seems to take 3 clicks to deactivate the bound eyes, at least for the first time on each level. If you try again after changing and deselecting the bound eye, it only takes 2. Seems like a bug.

This game no longer challenges me on its own terms, so I've resorted to playing random boards without using flags to mark mines (until I've dug all non-mine tiles, of course).

Look for the rows/columns with two hearts. The difference is one of the rows/columns. (For example, a row with a 0,1 would have 0 across, and 0 down below the 0, but 1 down below the 1.)

The only one I couldn't figure out was 67 (new 67, apparently the numbers changed? I just don't think I'm capable of wrapping my mind around the multiple points of entry seemingly required.

Can we get a "reset progress" option for levels so I can go back and replay without having to keep track of which I've completed again?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Is there a way to know what levels have been replaced? I only check the level number for new levels, but since eye + square (maybe my favourite clue type) was apparently removed (for now), some of the earlier levels are new.

One thing I would really love in Minesweeper mode is for 1x2 and 2x1 blue boxes, as well as hearts, to grey out when their conditions are satisfied and there are no other possibilities like other squares do.

I got into a situation in level 50 that requires guessing. No square can be determined to either be definitely or definitely not a mine. http://i.cubeupload.com/c6tgCE.png

I find I also miss eye+square, and had been hoping for eye+adjacent. Looking forward to any potential new clue types you add.

I have been coming back to this game for a few days, and every time there's something different! I quite enjoyed the combined eye+square clue, pity you removed that one.

I can confirm that level 68 has changed and is now perfectly logically solvable. Thank you for fixing that, ZBlip. You do good work :D I'll be back the next time you add new levels.

I too, have gotten stuck on level 68, without being able too proceed without guessing. Unless I have made a mistake I believe I have found 4 different scenarios which each satisfy all revealed clues and which together means that there could be a bomb under any of the remaining unrevealed blocks. http://imgur.com/a/9k8x3

I really like that this game leaves no guesswork, as was the case in the good old Windows classic. However, like two others here, I can't figure out the logic reasoning for the last six tiles in level 68 (snake that narrows). Counting from the narrow end of the snake, that is tile 1,2,3,4,8 and 9. According to the hearts, either tiles 2 and 7 or tiles 5 and 10 are lonely mines.
The only possible far-fetched reasoning I could see, is that assuming 5 and 10 were the lonely mines, we would need more information from opening of tile 4 and 9 in order to determine if 1-3 contained zero, two or three mines. While assuming the case of 2 and 7 being lonely mines, we would need no further information to determine the rest of the tiles. So considering the idea that this game is not to be based on guesswork, choosing 2 and 7 as lonely mines makes sense in a way, as it would guarantee no more guessing.
Ok - for level 68 (the snake level) it sounds like most are getting to the last 10 tiles. So from there: there is a 2-heart looking along 3-?'s, which must contain 1 lonely mine. 2 of these 3 '?' tiles can be ruled out by already satisfied hearts ... edit: I was wrong, it wasn't solvable

@Rellian Yeah, it looks like some of the levels have moved forward a bit. As for 68 (which was 67 when I played earlier), the real challenge for me was also at the last 6 uncertain tiles. As far as I know that's as far as logic can take you. The rest is guesswork. The level needs a fix.

I'm throwing in the towel. I'm utterly hopelessly stuck. On the final level, of all things. Level 68, the snakelike setup with a whole ton of hearts. I got it down to 6 uncertain tiles, but I can't make any headway from here. I've carefully calculated every tile, and found nothing definitive that I can use. I'm perfectly willing to believe that there's a guessless solution, but if there is, I'm going to need help finding it. I've used every trick in my repertoire already. Would anyone care to lend a hand?

So I came back to this game again today hoping to finish it off, and I encountered something odd. It seems like all the levels in the game got pushed forward. What was 66 yesterday is 67 now, and so on. It even caused me to lose my completed status on the now-67, as I hadn't completed the then-67 before. Has anyone else noticed this?

I wish there was a way to know when new levels are added, instead of checking every half day lol. These are great fun.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I have solved every level so far using pure logic, no guessing of any kind. I'm currently held up at level 66 from the new pack, but I trust that there's a proper solution, and it's just on me to find it. Specifically: For level 50, @giantommy, Start with the number 10, and work your way outward from that area. For level 61, @LennyHarmony, there's exactly one mine you can begin with, but once you figure out which one, the rest of the puzzle is easily handled.

A great game but after a while it gets too complex. Srsly, why include "eye+touch"? Also most puzzles are about guessing one or two tiles and then just going with the flow.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@MadCrimson, there is a logical solution to #45 by the 1 and 2 up/down/left/right blocks - 1 of these is a bomb, therefore 1 and only 1 of these is (repeat) and finally, therefore these cannot be bombs - and revealing additional clues to complete the puzzle.

can you please make a rules guide for each clue, on the more advanced clue levels, i progresses without really explaining, having issues with the rules on level 26, i keep getting bombs when i believe a rule is being satisfied properly, so please explain each one, thanks, manda

good game; one question i just tested anyone can random click and memorize all the mines and solve all levels , how will you prevent this? Do you intend to?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I like the difficulty scaling. One level will be very difficult and take many, many tries, but then I'll get a couple of levels that aren't too bad. It provides a nice break.
