@Neel: That's what they call proof by contradiction.
@ttobbaa: Yes, hard to move from Minesweeper to Mine-of-Sight!
This was an awesome game, but I don't think I can do 123 of them.
At least, not in one sitting!

The part that makes this game the hardest is the fact that eventually, the tiles switch direction or whatever it is. I'm not the best at describing.

You say we do not need to guess, but this is what I call guessing: "Okay, one of these two is a mine. Let's say it's this one, then this is not a mine, this one isn't, this is, and this one too, but that's a conflict, so from the first two, the other one is a mine." What I call puzzling is this: "Okay, one of these two is a mine. I don't know which one, but the adjacent 2 needs one mine more, which can only be in the third square, so that's a mine." I find myself guessing quite early in the game already.

I'm stuck on level 76 - anyone have any tips? http://imgur.com/a/PwfTk Each right-hand corner could be either two horizontal or two vertical, (bottom right has a third mine, too) with the single lone heart on the left-hand corners being either top row or bottom row depending on that. Walkthrough said to dig the bottom left two boxes by the two sixes, but I have no clue how you'd know that.

Ran the first 15 levels - didn't mark "save progress", then when you hit the save button it forgets all of the levels you did. Poor

It is very interesting how, in some situations, I can apply techniques used in Picross to solve a cousin of Minesweeper.

It's a bit confusing, mostly the hearts, but that just makes it even more difficult, and I don't like easy puzzles. :P

Actually, kelly_holden, I've never played in cross-grid mode! So yes, my comment holds for Scattered. But maybe not cross-grid.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Concerning iamarogue's comment about difficulty levels: I've mostly played in cross-grid mode since you introduced it, and I think that's easier with more mines.

Actually enjoying this quite a bit, not sure the reason but not a fan of the flipping board, can be a bit disorientating if you have been staring at one long enough. Also sometimes the fields don't dim when the requirements are met, the 7 & 11 on level 38 is one example.

I've noticed, now that Mines++ gives you the number of mines most of the time, that the fewer the mines there are, the easier it is. For example, I had a map the other day that had 39 mines which was quite impossible, and then I had a map with 6 mines which was a walk in the park. I would suggest that on the Mines++ options page, allow the user to select their difficulty level, where difficulty == number of mines. I wouldn't go so far as to have them select the exact number, just something like Easy = <10 mines, Moderate = 10-20 mines, Hard = 20=30 mines, Impossible = >30 mines.

Make a proper reload button for community levels. It's frustrating that I have to always scroll down if I fail at a level.

I can verify straight up through 142 (latest as of this writing) is solvable without guessing. However, like the user who reported being kicked back to the menu after finishing 122, I found the same to be true from 141 now. Further - whether coincidental or not - it also turned the grid view on. This is on the latest Ubuntu/Chrome combos. Other than that, my only issues were in frustration with the puzzle rotation when I would make a guess (and was wrong). I had wished that there was a way to disable that, but it would've made the degree of difficulty significantly less, which would feel more like cheating, since you could more easily brute-force all of the levels.

Looks as if the same off-by-one error i sin place still, as i finish the next-to-last level I get the finished screen. Have to use the level menu to get to the last level.

@Beerblog for level 83 consider the marked clue, only one of the 3 possibilities will satisfy it. (exculing the possibility that there isn't a bomb under either question mark since that wouldn't satisfy the 2-direction-clue.)

The problem with 86: http://i.imgur.com/FFg9rpg.png.
The heart means that the middle square needs to be a bomb. But it allows both the top and bottom squares to work.

Really like this game. One of the best puzzle games last year. The game makes u think, and game is fun. The game introduces new mechanics from time to time, it supports player's interest. Good work, keep it up! =)

I'd like to recommend a new clue type. One that simply counts every mine on the board. Through excessive playing of regular Minesweeper, I've found that there are many cases where the only way to progress without guessing is to use the total number of remaining mines as a clue of its own. It would also have the interesting bonus of teaching players of your game how to use this same trick in the original Minesweeper, like I have learned to do.

@vegetalss4 I had planned to take a look and help you get past where you were stuck there, but it turns out you're absolutely right, those both work perfectly. Looks like we'll need a quick update for that one. Until then, though, the correct answer is the picture on the left.

Firstly, I would like to thank you again for the amazing dedication you show in continuing to update this game with new and interesting levels and puzzles.
Secondarily, Unless i have misunderstood how the clues work or otherwise missed something I believe that level 135 is currently unsolvable without guessing.
I have here made a picture of two possible solutions which should each satisfy all clues and mean that no unrevealed square can safely be removed. http://imgur.com/a/LkpjP
All the rest of the current levels are solvable without any guessing at all.

You really know how to keep your game fresh and the player thinking. I read the description for the shared crowns at least five times and it still took me two levels to fully understand the logic behind this. This is so much fun to figure out. The flash is a good addition as well. The amount of variation you squeezed into a simple game like Minesweeper is amazing.

Loved the new levels! I really like the new Lightning clue, it was great fun to figure out. I can also confirm that all levels are solvable without guessing. I did have trouble with one thing, though, which is level 124 doesn't seem to give you a description of what the connected-lonely-mines clue is doing. I had to figure it out for myself based on the freebie tutorial levels. (Which, I mean, I enjoyed. But I'm the exception, not the rule)

Wow! 5 months later, and you're still coming up with new clue types! This game deserves a higher rating. I mainly wanted to comment about the mobile version (which I half-expected from the beginning based on the available control schemes). Last I checked, I was unable to change the control scheme at all. Is Mark First not implemented yet in the mobile version, or is it a bug? (If it matters, I'm using a Galaxy S5 with Lollipop.)

Can't play, stuck loading at around 90%. "try clicking on the game screen, I think its a focus thing"--Nope, it's not a focus thing.
