One of my favorite games on Kongregate. Nothing compares to the feeling of climbing the mountain that goes on forever, let alone climbing it without taking the fruit of youth.

Games like this keep me coming back here. It shows that with creativity and hard work you can make something really entertaining. Kudos for the author.

...Dude, most of them were either animals, morons, or people who were mean to you. Totally worth it.

When I fell down a the start, im like "Hhhmmm...why does this guy want his gems? He doesn't sound like a good guy..." I collect some gems anyway, then climb up to the top, and then I get the sword and kill the evil guy, then the endng says, "I have killed 0 creatures. I belong here." And Im like WTF?!?!

Nice game and I really appreciate the handling of the story. What started out looking like a simple consequence-free Jump´n´Run took a surprisingly dark turn at some point.

Oh crud, I've been helping the evil deity the whole time....so that's what the little monster-guy thing means when he said don't trust anyone....but after that I zapped him.

It's fairly good, but the comments for the "good" ending where you climb the wall really is unsatisfactory. Oh well, I played it all three ways and it was pretty good overall.

Found 3 endings so far *SPOILERS* Good: Don't collect all the gems (there are 11 but you only need 10). Instead, climb up, open the chest near the start and return to the temple. Not so good: Same as Good but kill at least 10 creatures with lightning. Bad: Collect 10 gems, return to the temple and use the light to go up. There's a creature in one of the caves that will teach you the Teleport Spell after killing 10 other creatures with lightning.

god, this game reminds me sooo muck of shadow of the colossus. There's an endurance bar, a wierd light that points to where you're supposed to go, and there's a voice that tells you do do things in cryptic messages for no apparent reason.

There's a pseudo-glitch to get around the island that blocks your heavenly ascent. Just whip out your parachute while holding up and you can move out of the beam and still go up. Dodge around the island, and the NPC up there will be very confused as to how you got there - he'll even say so! Fun game!

Purple Girl: "I wonder what these pillars are built for, do they mean anything?"
They were built so they would be a pain in the ass for people who are climbing them. Say small dwarves.

For the record, I tried getting the hero ending with the fruit of youth, and it doesn't seem any different than the "normal" hero ending. I guess the dude's warning about the fruit is more for the challenge freaks - "what fun is there in beating the game with infinite stamina?"

At first I thod it was grabbing fruit to continue to the next part of the game. I was wrong. The game is much more complicate than that. And beautiful, too.

I got all the badges for this game a little over 10 years ago, but don't remember it all that well so it looks like I'm doing it again.

Makes me think of Shadow of the colossus: A mysterious voice, (after falling down the cliff) the temple with vines and so far, no giant rock monsters XP
