2/5. bland background, no special features. no storyline, no upgrades, ships 3 and 4 r the same stats which is a major disappointement. things you could do to improve: add optional backgrounds, add upgrades to ships themselves and then you could just upgrade that ship's shape, color, etc., also add modes like battle, coin catching, etc., theres a lot u could do.

Would be a great game with upgrades, weapons, money, achievements and maybe even multiplaver.
But without all of this: boring (3/5)

Pretty much what a lot of people have said. It's a tight game for what it is, but it's pretty basic. Yay, 3-D graphics in Flash and all. We get it. But this is basically Mario Kart - weapons + all the tracks look the same. Need to bring something more to the gameplay itself if you want to really impress.

I am disappoint. The game was done lazily. Tunnels look horrible from outside and the background is bland and uninteresting. The track stays exactly the same the entire game, just endless corners and speed bosts. The track never gets wider or thinner. There are no features to make the game interesting. The ships themselves are boring with only tiny improvements. Basically there's a lot that could have been done to make this a great game, instead it's like this, a fairly disappointing way to waste time.

I think this game is a bit too easy and unrealistic. You can easily win without removing throttle, and the AI is incredibly easy to beat.
(Yes, I can prove that it's easy. Look at the highscores for every track; I'll be in most below 50)

awsome game, wait what!? finished already :'( try adding more tracks and a customisable car that you can edit using the parts from the other cars, separate difficulty levels that change the width of the track would be good too, because some people wont be able to cope with the tight curves if this king of game isnt thier strongpoint

There's a typo when you get slower than your other time. It says "You WHERE xx:xx:xx slower than your last best time :("

haah made me really miss the old wipeout game, shame it got a lil repetitive, like its been said some upgrades would be fun

Damn nice game, havent played a simple racing game for a while now, and with no lag and no weapons this was epic nice :D 5/5.

Sorry, don't like this game. Way too hard to control with the arrow keys. The whole race is a series of over-corrections. Maybe i just don't have enough fineness.

really good from a technical standpoint, but lacks of idead. that said, just make the tracks much broader and the vehicles much faster, and you have created a nice browser-version of f-zero :D

There's a bit of rendering weirdness around 3 mins (out of 4) into this map, 999999:1500:150:3:1. I thought I was about to be eaten!

@lock of fear Y'know, they could lock it so you only get money once (1) for each level.
For me, it was just the difficulty. It's really easy.

A typical miniclip game: Screw gameplay and innovativity, let's make a generic future-racer with 3D-Graphics! Nothing matters but 3D Graphics!

THE PRE-MADE SHIPS ARE THE UPGRADES AND IN MY NOT SO HUMBLE OPINION ARE BETTER THEN A MONEY SYSTEM BECAUSE THEY INSURE A DIFFICULTY CURVE BASED ON PROGRESS AND NOT NUMBER OF TIMES YOU PLAY A LEVEL. stop asking for a money system dammit it's not always a good thing.

What was disappointing for me was that all the maps look similar. It would have been better if there was different scenery or a jump here or there.

Great! And it's also great that what makes it futuristic in design makes it fast (made of some polygons with 3, 4 or 5 sides). One problem: too short without custom levels and no multiplayer. So 4.25/5, I will give it a 4. I want a sequel.

wow i was one of the first people to play this, didnt know it wouldbe so famous xD, rate + if you were one of the first :p

GG 4/5 cause there lag in the time score watch myself get a 45.00 on a track but after it it loaded up all the items at the end of the race somehow had a 45.21 all in all a good game

Looks like audiosurf without the audiosurf part :)
Quite nice, but a bit lacking with the gameplay (i.e. repetitive, see the top comments). Just for programmer's curiosity - did you roll your own 3D or go for one of the available solutions?
