I like the game. I can't see myself going too far in, unless something drastically changes in the next few stages. It really, really needs hot keys to select the characters. Almost every stage I've played so far, everyone just ends up in a messy clump. Kinda of annoying trying to click the tiniest sliver of Edward's helmet through the mess, hoping you got it right and tell him to attack. Only to have val take two pointless steps deeper into to it all. Also, Not really a problem, just funny to me. why in the world, when you manually make the "archer" attack someone with his "bow", does he go into psychopath mode, casually walking up to them and start shooting them point blank in the face?

Good game. The control is a little overly-frantic for my taste.

selecting a party member is infuriating. when they overlap you cant select the one behind the front most even when you can clearly see them. they tend to end up in one location so it easy for your group wiped by a bosses move. targeting enemies is exactly the same. if you want to target the goblin throwing bones but an orc is overlapped on top of him, you cant select him . . even when you can clearly see him. the crowding and grouping needs work. also, needs an auto engage feature or something. something that when an enemy has entered a certain range of the party member and the party member isnt attacking an enemy, they go for that enemy.

I would have liked this game, but there's at least one big issue I have with it. It is difficult to select which of the three units you want to move when they are standing right next to each other, and in a fast-paced game like this, being able to quickly select the character you want and tell him/her where to go is crucial. There are two easy ways to remedy this, though. At least, two easy ways that quickly come to my mind, anyway. One, you could assign keyboard shortcuts to quickly select the unit you want to command (i.e. pressing 1 would select Edward, 2 would select Gunther, et cetera). The other way I can think of is to allow a way to pause the action and select who does what while everything is holding still. As it is, though, it can be frustrating to select the unit you want. However, there was clearly effort put into this game, and for that, I give it three stars.
