I think there's a lot of potential here, but as others have noted the game will not save, meaning it's essentially unplayable, for now. I did have a lot of fun getting Bodchester out of League Two, but having to start over every time I return to the game makes final victory impossible and playing thus becomes futile. Judging by how hard it is for a team to progress in a new league (Matching reality, so no complaints there), the game is meant to be completed over multiple play sessions. Which clearly can't happen when it won't save your progress. Worth revisiting if that problem gets fixed, though.

So just not a good game, mainly because it refuses to tell you what all the stats actually DO.
How do the various formations and defense/balanced/offense actually affect things? What stats impact them? What is the relative advantage of the number of stars vs the various emoticons for status? There is absolutely zero way to tell.
Plus there seems to be MASSIVE RNG. I did a season and was going to match up against the strongest team that had like 3-4 stars in everything. I put all of my higher players on the bench to rest, put the absolute worst 1-2 stars possible in every position and set it on defensive hoping I wouldn't lose too bad. Instead I WON 4-0 somehow. Then the next game, when I put my high star starters with good status back into all positions, against the next team that was a full 2 stars lower in every way, I somehow lose 0-3! It makes no sense at all and makes it impossible to 'play' the game.

I, too, have been save scumming after getting past the first year and my observations are that it makes no difference what you do including the answers. I got "stuck" on a match now and got wildly different results every time, even with the same answers. Just switch out the tired players and redo a game until it randomises a win. There is no strategy so don't bother trying to adjust anything, such as formations and testing out players. Ask for money and buy some good players and that's it. This game should never have received badges.

Not going to play this one, not going to give an AI slop-coded game my time, and I recommend this game be removed from Kongregate.
