A double pendulum simulator I made for a physics class. Pretty cool to look at.
วิธีเล่น
Control buttons:
Pause – pause or resume pendulum
Colors – randomize colors of the lines
Paint – Draw on the background
Clear BG – Clear the background
Slow – Make the pendulum move at 1/10th speed.
Random – Randomize position, mass, and angles of the double pendulum.
Reset – reset to position of pendulum before it dropped

We should be able to choose the length without just using random.

This is pretty cool. Makes me want to see what triple or quadruple would look like.
I was thinking the same thing! I'm going to see what I can do about adding this.

Pretty neat simulator! The only thing I've noticed other than not having the length customization (which I see you're working on), when the inner pendulum is longer than the outer one and they end up making a circle, the two speed up so much that it breaks the simulator and ends up flinging both pendulums off the screen.
Thanks! Yes, I believe this issue actually stems from the equations I used do not correctly model rotational motion above 90 degrees in either direction, so when it starts to make a full loop, sometimes it goes nutty bananas. I'm looking in to fixing this as well. Update coming soon, thanks for the input!
