Why this game hasn't long been badged yet is beyond me. It's just great!

can the defense get called for pass interference? my receivers are having wrestling matches on the field

This is one of the best games on Kongregate right now, and it only gets better with each update. I wish that there was a screen where we could see defensive statistics, like probability of sacking, intercepting, forcing a fumble, etc. Also, it would be nice if there was a chance that an interception could lead to a touchdown, as that is a feature that the opposing teams seem to love to use.

it would be nice if when choosing a different team you could see roughly how good they are

Amazing game, each update adds so much more and its starting to become a really in depth football game. After playing 59 seasons, I still enjoy the game. Would be amazing if there was a chance to even just see your defence on the field. I understand that it may be difficult to add gameplay of a defensive player (say a safety for example) but just watching the oppositions offensive capabilities would be awesome. Keep at it siread, your game is one of my favourites!
