Tower of Hanoi

Tower of Hanoi, also known as ‘Hanoi’s Tower’ has the following legend.

There are three diamond pillars, each as tall as 50cm high inside Benares temple of Hanoi in Vietnam. On one of these pillars lie sixty-four circular pieces made of pure gold, which God bored holes to each of the pieces arranged small to large from top to bottom. God ordered the monks to move the pieces one by one through all day and night and move them to the empty pillar. The circular pieces are to be moved only one at a time, and the larger piece may not to be stacked on top of a smaller piece. When all sixty-four circular pieces are moved to another pillar with success, monks and the temple will be turn to dust and disappear, and bring forth the Armageddon.
