A simplistic game that manages to make that a GOOD thing. Early stage grinding is fairly hellish until those upgrades slowly start accumulating, at which point everything seems to snowball until I become a veritable red-caped-rodent dervish of blue-thundering wrongdoer annihilation. The only small criticism I would have is how once the additional chance-to-drop items start dropping ("unlock chance to drop" as opposed to "increase chance of dropping) did seem categorically game-changing.
Still, everyone needs a break from mouse-based mayhem in order to summon a Sixth Sense'ian guntaxi, borrow a Silver Surfboard whilst donning a polyester leisure suit, before transforming into a psychotropic, rotating sumo hippopotamus that flings cans of soda so heavily-shaken that they explode on impact.
One can only imagine how great western civilisation could have been if Walt Disney's imagination had taken THIS path.
Or LSD, that would probably have led roughly here, too.

Bullet hell should have a small hitbox.

Bullet hell games need to have more precision than this. 3/5.

I wanted to like it, but it feels like the speed upgrades don't do anything, and all of the bosses recycle the same attack patterns. 3 stars
