About me

Sex: Male. Sex of rp character-Ember: Male. (Listed later, but I find it important to say as early as possible.) Oh the dreaded school system. I will be on only rarely now, instead of almost all day almost every day. I will attempt to get on every day after I finish my homework, so don't expect to see me on untill after 4:30 (Eastern U.S.A. time, and if I'm lucky to have little homework.) Also, I am in Boy Scouts. I am a Life Scout, but am so close to Eagle Scout. I already completed my Eagle Project and all of the paperwork for it, I just need my board of review, then I'm done. ------------------------------------------------------ Before I begin, I would like to express a few pressing concerns of mine. (Although if you are reading this just for my role playing characters' descriptions, you can skip this.) First I spend all of my chat room time in the room "Role Playing #1". The fact that there is a #1 but no #2 bothers me slightly, but more so is how few people's characters I know things about. I think that anyone who wants to role play in the role playing room should use some, or all, of their "About me" to describe their character(s) and background story(s) for their character(s). It doesn't have to be a rediculisly long one, just enough to keep others out of the dark on what goes on with the role plays. Second, I think that people should respond to people using their username (or part of it) when in a role play, and not just their character's name. It could make things easier for some people. This is just a suggestion though, so you don't have to listen (I personally prefer being called Ember rather than Dragonalx, Dragon, or alx) . And, third, I think that there should be gender symbols next to people's usernames in the chat rooms in order to prevent confusion. If you know somebody who could make that change, please ask them to. Thank you. Also, I would like to give special thanks to... XxScionxX - for offering to put me (as a dragon) in his book that he is writing. KnightOfSet and Dragoness01 - for liking dragons enough for your rp character to be at least half dragon also, although I personally think that dragons are better, but that is mainly a preference of size and having either hands or claws. Evil Dragon and Vampwulf - for also being dragons. Even though they are merdragons (vampwulf also being able to transform into a dragon too because of his interesting abilities), it is still in the dragon family. DragonOfLight, Firedite, and anyone who role plays as a dragon, or part dragon to some degree - For liking dragons enough to want to be one in a role play. I just hope you are good, because bad dragons give (mostly) good dragons like me a bad name. and... Anyone who I have role played with and forgot to mention (S1lv3rfox) - for letting me role play with you. And now on to my rp character descriptions. ------------------------------------------------------ Name - Ember (Real name is Emberald, [Ember because most dragon names have something to do with fire, and the whole name is a take-off of the precious gem "emerald" that matches the color of his scales.], but prefers being called Ember.) (Oh, and by the way, Ember named himself while still young, so he didn't know that it sounded like a girl dragon name, so Ember is a boy dragon. At least it sounds like a dragon name instead of a human name.) Sex - male (As if the previous description wasn't enough for you.) Species - Dragon Subspecies - European Dragon (4 legs , large wings, (usually) dark colored, very hard scales) Appearance: A dragon. Very good looking by dragon standards. Unfortounatly, that also translates to ferocious looking by human standards, and would likely scare most people. Personality: A good dragon. Collects gold and gemstones by finding them rather than by stealing them, and only for protection. Tries to befriend anyone he meets, unless they try to harm or annoy him. Also, is tired most of the time, and will be asleep in his cave unless woken up. Attempts to keep his friends out of trouble, doesn't usually work though. Age - Unknown (It wasn't something that Ember found important to keep track of Food - Will eat almost anything. Will eat any type of meat from any animal (except other dragons). Also enjoys fish. Will not eat people unless there is no other food, or they attack him, but may occationally eat other rp characters if they bother him too much. Digestive juces are highly acidic and apparently extremly painfull to anyone eaten whole and alive. Is also able to go for weeks without eating, and can survive on pure magical energy as well, but that doesn't stop him from being hungry at the time. Scale strength - 11 on the Mohs hardness scale (Harder than diamond. Only weaker scaled areas [belly, neck, wings] can be cut through.) Scale color - emerald green, but looks like moss green in the dark. Belly scales and neck scales are gold in color, are more flexible, and are a dragon's weak spot, otherwise, movement would be dificult. Although, the weaker scales are sticky and have a protective coating of crushed gemstones, preferably diamonds and emeralds, so they look no different than the other scales. Ember's dimmensions are (By the way, dragons are able to stand and walk on either 2 legs or 4 legs. What I put here are the total dimmensions for while standing on 4 legs.)... total length - 40 feet total height - 15 feet total width - 10 feet (50 foot-long wingspan) weight - 2 tons, about 4,000 pounds Flight speed - 350mph Ember is also able to breathe fire that can burn at 15,000 degrees Farenheight, or heal other dragons (half dragons and mer dragons included), at close to room temperature. Ember is weak against water and ice, but is trying to build up a resistance to them by learning how to swim and spending some time in water. His greatest weakness is against merdragons (dragons that gain their power from water instead of fire and have powerfull parilizing venom), but he am now friends with all the merdragons that he know about, so that doesn't matter. Also Ember has the healing ability mentioned earlier. The healing is an out-of-battle ability, because it weakens him greatly and he usually fall unconsious afterwards, expecially when it is used to bring a dragon back to life (which it can do by the way.) Finally, Ember has found out that he is one of the "chosen dragons". He is the dragon of air, kind of like how Spyro is with fire. This means that Ember can control the wind to do things like make small tornados. This doesn't interfere with his fire abilities though. Alt character: Name - Flame Sex - male Species - Dragon Subspecies - European Dragon (4 legs , large wings, (usually) dark colored, very hard scales) Appearance: A dragon. Looks like Ember, but larger and with a different scale color. Personality: A good dragon. Even when he was being hunted by dragon slayers, Flame did everything that he could to save his friend, who was also being hunted. He, like Ember, spends most of his time asleep in his cave. Flame has few things that he hates, and dragon slayers are on the top of that list. Age - Unknown (It wasn't something that Flame found important to keep track of, but he is Ember's father, so he is older.) Food - Will eat almost anything. Will eat any type of meat from any animal (except other dragons). Also enjoys fish. Will not eat people unless they are dragon slayers. Flame's dimmensions are (Again, this is for while standing on 4 legs)... total length - 50 feet total height - 20 feet total width - 15 feet (60 foot-long wingspan) weight - 2.5 tons, about 5,000 pounds Flight speed - 400mph Being a dragon, Flame can breathe fire. Flame can breathe fire hotter than Ember's at 20,000 degrees farenhight. Flame also has the dragon healing ability, but being more experienced, can stay consious after healing somebody. New alt character: Name: Charcoal Sex: Female (I am a boy irl, this is just because I wasn't able to find another person to play as Ember's mate in the rp. I am sorry Silvia(DragonOfLight), but you are never on anymore, and you weren't making any sence with what you were doing with randomly starting to hate me.) Species: Dragon (need I go on? Most of this is reppitition from before. I will give what I think is needed.) Age: Unknown, slightly older than Ember though. Size and abilities: Slightly bigger than ember, but only by inches. Can only breathe fire though, which includes healing fire. Is stronger than Ember in physical attacks though, but can't fly as fast at 250mph max. Personality: Nice. Even though female dragons can hypnotize male dragons into mateing with them, she gave Ember the chance to back down first. Also refuses to eat people for some reason. Scale color: Black. All scales are jet-black, except for the wings,claws,horns,and spines which are gold-colored. Background story - (By the way. In any rp, I'll use {E} for Ember {F} for Flame, and {C} for Charcoal when I have actions or speech. If I don't mention who says or does something, it is likly Ember because I use him more often. Anyway...) Flame was a good dragon, not seeking to harm anyone, but was hunted by dragon slayers anyway. The slayers ended up cournering Flame and his family inside his cave. The slayers then killed all of Flames family, and mortally wounded flame. But Flame was able to kill off all the slayers as well, and the slayers missed one egg. Flame then fell unconsious to heal himself. A few days later, Ember hatched out of his egg, the one the slayers missed. He looked around and saw all of his family dead (he couldn't tell that Flame was just unconsious). Then, Ember named himself and ran, thinking that the slayers would return. Later that year, Flame woke up, fully healed. Try as he might, he was unable to locate Ember. After years of failed searching, Flame hid in a cave to avoid attention. Meanwile, Ember was able to survive in a forest (which is why Flame couldn't see him). When Ember was about 10, he got lonely. He left the forest in search of other dragons. After finding people to be with (in role playing #1) Ember went on many adventures (rps). (current main rp that I'm in:) After saving the life of a shifter, Silver (S1lv3rfox), who was only rescently found out to be Ember's cousin, Ember and Silver started to be hunted by slayers. While running, Ember and Silver flew right into Flame's cave. After a family reunion between the two dragons, a village was found where Silver could be safe with other shifters. Then, after a fight with bounty hunters who were sent to kill Silver, Ember was wounded. Though he was healed fine, he accidently cursed Silver with his blood, turning Silver into an almost exact copy of Ember, with all the abilities of a dragon, and unable to shift back. This led to a long sequence of events, ending with Ember and Silver turning out to be cousins. Now, silver is all dragon, and the same size as Ember, but with red wings and gray scales. At about the same time, Ember found a dragon egg, which hatched. So Ember is also acting as a dad for this young dragon named Storm (Tomocelo1233). Then, all that happoned afterwards was s1lv3rfox's idea, not mine, I just went along with it! Silver mated with another dragon, June, and they had a boy, Pyro (see s1lv3rfox's profile). Then (because of peer pressure from s1lv3rfox to have this as a way to continue the rp!), Ember mated with Charcoal, who had an as-of-yet-unhatched jet-black egg. (Also, just a random addition to Ember's family tree. It turns out that Flame is Spyro's uncle, so Ember looks like a larger, green, verson of Spyro. lol, just felt like adding that.) Caves - Ember and Flame have in total, 3 caves. One is Ember's cave in the forest where he spent his childhood. The second is carved into the wall of a cliff that drops down into the ocean. The third, Flame's cave, is hidden in a mountan range. Currently, as well as sharing the cave with his father and extended family (all the dragons listed in the background description), Ember is also sharing his cave with an orphened dragon raised from the egg, which hatched. Now, Ember is acting as the father for a young dragon named Storm (Tomocelo1233). Finally, there is a pile of treasure in Ember's cave, but it is cursed (and the curse can't be nullified, or removed, and no one can be immune or resistant to it). If anyone tries to steal the treasure, the curse turns them into a dragon when they try to leave the cave. ------------------------------------------------------ Now, I know that there are too many people who use dragons in role plays, but I would like to say that I was the FIRST one too whom still takes part in role plays!
