We shall be finishing the group stage of our league very soon – we decided to make 31st May the ultimate deadline. However, since we realized it is infeasible to get all the matches played, we have to come up with an alternative way of ranking the players. Therefore, we agreed that it is necessary for all players to have at least 15 matches played in order to facilitate the process of ranking of them in a fair way. All participants who do not have 15 games played yet have been highlighted in our spreadsheet (http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=pDya2qTh0acYhXMEzCsR-LQ&gid=0). If you do not manage by the end of May, you will unfortunately not be qualified in the final table. It is nothing personal, this requirement is just very crucial for us to finish the group stage.
We understand that it can be difficult to find matches. There are a few ways to make this somewhat easier. Firstly, please always come to room 42 while playing Kongai, as this makes it far easier for you to find other players. There is also the issue of timezone differences. For this, we suggest that you shout other league members to set up a time. While you might not normally be on at the same time as everyone else, in most situations there will be some time in the next two weeks you can arrange to play.

Everyone still has a chance to advance to the playoffs! And don’t forget there are prizes waiting for everyone!

During the first week of the Kongai League we managed to play 30% of all games, which is a pretty decent record. However, we’ve noticed that activity of few of you is relatively smaller compared to others. We’re obviously in no position to force you to play, but if you played 1-2 games per day, we would finish the league stage in 2-3 weeks. Due to the nature of the league, we need every player to have played each other by the end. If some players don’t play, we can’t do this. Thus, if you still haven’t played in a week or two, we will have to consider removing you from the league. This is not anything personal, but the league can’t finish if people don’t play. If there is a reason as to why you haven’t played, however, please let us know and we can make an exception. If you got discouraged during the league, we would like to remind everyone that there are prizes (exclusive Kongai cards) waiting for everyone, as long as they play all their matches.
PS. This message was sent to all players with less than 10 matches played, if you’ve only recently begun and have been playing matches consistently don’t worry about it too much. Thanks for reading,

Welcome to the Kongai League, thanks for registering :)
Registration is closing today, so we’d like to check and confirm that you are indeed planning on joining and playing the 30ish league games and the tournament which will follow for those who score in the top half. Games will start within the next few days.
The way scheduling for this is going to work is that you will have to find each of the other players in your group (which will be announced tomorrow) and play them all. To do this, please go to room 42 while playing Kongai. If you get most of your games out of the way and need to find the rest of the players, drop them a message of some sort to arrange a time. To make this process easier, please respond to this message (or post in the thread) giving what times you are most likely to be available. This will make it easier for everyone to find each other and get their games played.
