After the Pity Da Fool’s Day avatar switch, I decided it was really time to get back to some Storageheater created squiddy loveliness. I’d totally wear that hat.

And now, some poems by my children. Poetry writing is one of their new things, so I hope to rotate some new ones in from time to time. I want line breaks in my profile!!

From my daughter, 6 years old

Vines and Flowers
leaves and trees
nature wonder
and breeze.

Lovely wonders
nature can be
birds flying
in the trees.

Also:

Butterfly, butterfly
close of day
butterfly, butterfly
don’t fly away.

My son, 9 years old wrote this. rppxx says his poetry perhaps shows evidence of being read Gertrude Stein’s children’s book “The World is Round” as a child:

Trees are nature
And the water is nature
and the sand is also nature.

The wind and the trees and the animals, too.
and the sea and animals there
Are all part of mother nature.
They come from mother nature to make the world happy.
